This is awesome and is helping me make a decision to take on a PhD after a DBA and working as a teaching professor at the moment.

is the PHD program shorter if you already have a DBA

Thank you for this. I come from a similar background; I studied mechanical engineering as an undergrad. I was earning a decent amount but every job I had since college was a 6-12 month contract; I never landed a full-time salary gig. It didn't help that my wife (a doctor) moved us around a bit and the two times I was offered an ongoing salary position, we ended up moving across the country for her job within a year. When I was 26, I went back to school part-time for my masters in business strategy and finished when I was 30. I wrote the LSAT shortly after that and did well enough to have a shot at any school, but I decided against it due to not really having a strong enough interest in law. Over the last couple years, my job has evolved into a research position. and I realize how much I enjoy running studies, constantly learning while doing literature reviews for my company's executive management team, and just analyzing loads of data. I'm 32 now and looking at beginning a PhD in business or a DBA. Your videos are certainly a helpful contribution to my consideration.
