Alex has been building this Nissan for a while now and it's really come together. Everything short of of a skottle for an long trip, and luxury enough for some fancy JDM parts while still being capable enough to wheel.

I have a 2001 with manual transmission. I love it. But if you experience the dreaded “death sway” just replace the upper and lower trailing arms in the rear. Just did mine. Easy fix ps. Any pointers on replacing the radio/sound system? Mine has a Bose system and has all sorts of amps and relays placed around for the speakers. Just replaced the relays located in the rear because all my speakers went out.

I thought the tire mount would be secured to a frame structure or something. Just mounting it to body sheet metal is kind of scary to me.

we have mcc in christchurch new zealand not far from where i live, they don't have a good reputation over here when you throw a good size winch on them as the bumpers tend to bend after hauling trucks out of mud etc, and customer service isn't the best

Awesome build!! I have an 03 le. I should be doing the lift next week plus some new shoes. Anyway. I was wondering if you had any suggestions getting into contact with the guys at pines to spines? I tried signing up for npora like months ago and haven't got an email ha. Even tried commenting on one of hawairish's KZbin videos. Any help would be much appreciated!!

@@stevenstiles1 thanks man! Your rig is gorgeous. I have a big pile of boxes with new front springs, struts, rear bilstein shocks and the lr 9449's in back, and the locking hubs. I'm so close ha. Should hopefully put all that on this week and next week get the tires and wheels. Have you by chance seen the video from mick Attardo about the extended bump stops?

@@MrBosox2767 literally just did this to my 04 LE! Ac 2" coils in the front with kyb struts, bilstein 5100s in the rear with 9449 coils. Rugged ridge manual hubs (or rough ridge something like that). Went with BFG KO2 a/t 's all around and man it rides so nice on and off road its a dream come true. I'm eyeballing that bumper he has id like to get one of those. I also tried signing up for NPORA , even downloaded the tapatalk app. No luck with the email. I'd love to organize some runs around the KY area.

I can't remember he might have installed it himself or with pines to spines. I've done them on subarus and it's something I'd want to do at home since there can be so many unexpected hiccups

How are you getting that much tire poke with only 4.75 inches of backspacing; do you have wheel spacers as well? My goal is to get a flush fitment with the fenders.

I'm get new dobinson front/rear coils & struts. And I want to run 265 70 17 without an extended lift. Will I be able to fit those tire without any rubbing or obstruction problems while driving or offroading with just the lift of the new coils & struts, anyone?

You'll need some offset rims for up front because the taller tire will contact the spring perch on the strut so you'll either need wheel spacers or new rims with offset

I have 275/70/17 on method 305, ac coils springs on front on kyb struts i also added a 1inch wheel spacers. LR-9449 on rear & bilstein shocks. With some light trimming no rubbing at all.

I gotta ask about the manual hubs up front! Wanting to put them on my 01 qx4 But have heard of issues with the transfer case with the “auto” option, something about the light flashing and having issues even with the hubs unlocked and in the 2wd, have you had any issues ?

I have the hubs on my R50. The 4WD light will come on on the dash if you cruise on the highway for about an hour. the light will go out when you cycle the key. The transfer case doesn't detect the front drive shaft turning, so it thinks something is wrong.

On my '03 LE I've never had any light flash or other issues from the manual hubs, even on extended hwy drives, just fyi.

I had a 96 pathfinder that I inherited from my ex father in law. Absolutely unit. Bulletproof V6 and drivetrain. However, the front frame dampeners were worn out, so it made a horrendous from suspension noise. Also, we could never get the alignment right, maybe a rack and pinion issue???
