This COULD age horribly but I don't think this G2 roster is as good as their points say. They've played the two worst teams in the league and ITB fared better against BDS than them. I still think they're playing like individuals coasting off star power rather than unity which works against bums like Fnatic but won't against better teams.

It is true that all their points are against the seemingly worst teams, but they did at least stomp them and put up a fight against BDS. The individual skill is there, but indeed their overall success will likely hinge on them coming together as a unit.

⁠@@highgroundatzI think G2 had this problem atleast since CTZN was on the Roster and havent changed all that much they went from Baiting to Split-theory to this semi-Split-theory in my opinion what worked for them at the Invite and the other events they played, is either their confidence on stage or them being more composed and disciplined. I just really hope that with another brasilian they can find a good team Spirit and actually Profit from their individuallity because im still not believing that they will Switch away from Single players having impact to Team orientet playstyles

The thing you have to remember about G2 vs Wolves, is that because of the extremely poor setup of ewc, They had to rematch wolves in quals. G2 2-0ed the first time. Wolves 2-0ed the 2nd time. Many teams very easily could’ve made that event including Virtus pro, which is why I consider ewc results very lightly.

Yeah the rematch fact is fair (and the fact that it happened was dumb), but I do value the second one more because that was an elimination game.

Hmmm… I think I’d place Wolves lower, they barely won against Fnatics due to P4 clutching and didn’t seem to have the best performances. Also, from the way Secret performed against other teams I’d put them below Wylde although I agree it’s early stage still. BDS for sure is dominating though ;) Thanks for the video! ^_^

If there were big standouts, maybe I'd have Wolves lower, but they've looked solid compared to the competition so far

@@highgroundatz really? For me it’s not the individual performance (even though their players aren’t exactly G2/BDS/Furia class [in my humble opinion]). It’s the way in which they play. Old Wolves (when Rise was there) for me were insane at that, they could execute 4 v 5 and still win due to coordination and team play. Now it’s more individual play (again, seemingly), just look at their Fnatic game, they won 3 rounds purely cos of individual play.

My power ranking: 1. BDS 2. ITB 3. WOLVES 4. VP 5. G2 6. Secret 7. Wylde 8. Fnatic 9. Ence -Ence looking very bad -Fnatic are the throw masters -Wylde could step up -Secret is solid (Virtue is a monster) -G2 is playing like last stage only on solo plays. Will end bad against Wolves and VP -VP is very good -Wolves are back i think, they played very well the last games -BDS are the best team in EUL.
