Hey August, just to let you know, he goes by R.A. The Rugged Man, never really referred to as "The Rugged Man," or "Rugged Man." The full title is kind of necessary. I understand Destiny has called him "Rugged Man" a decent amount, but it reads odd for hip-hop cats that know his art.

The minute starting at 34:40 had me tearing up (a lot). As a relatively new dad trying to raise sons I can hear the love and pain in his voice when he says "Daddy's gone", and my heart breaks thinking of my boys having to say that about me. But I can only hope that I can raise them to love me as much as I love them.

I don't even follow or care about rap or rap culture, but it was really cool to hear him talk about how he got into it and how things evolved over time etc. Dude seems really nice and chill too. He's very entertaining in conversation. Idk how much crossover there is to make opportunities for him to be a returning guest, but I could definitely listen to him on the show again in the future. Maybe him and YMS to come on and debate niche horror movies haha.

Why is there dead noise sprinkled throughout? Like while they are talking we hear the room air/fan or whatever the ambient noise is but sometimes when there is a pause between talking everything is dead silent. Can we fix this going forward. Very noticeable to me.
