Very nice review, one thing to mention about that stow away chest pocket, get yourself a 3-5 ltr stuff sac, no more fight, and jacket is well protected, then you can simply attach it to your pack with a simple carabiner!

Great jacket. Small made though. I am usually a medium but this is a slim fit, ok if just wearing a tshirt below it but anything thicker makes it a bit snug. Large works for me without being too baggy or long in the sleeves or body. Great quality!

Why would you be in a hurry to put away a dozen jacket in a cold environment? I would be more worried about taking it out when cold.

I'm pretty sure the hood is adjustable? All the models I've seen have inner cords for tightening.

Hi Abbie, thanks for the review. Some friends and I are trekking Kilimanjaro this October and was looking for a good down layer at a reasonable price. It's difficult to choose between this and heavier jackets with higher levels of insulation. With you're experience of Kili would this jacket be on your list ?

I actually took this jacket with me to Kili when I did it. I think it depends on the season you are going in. You can't go wrong with a think down jacket.

Down traceable. You maen like which feathers were used & if the ducks have had a good life.? Are the feathers of a higher quality if they use a rare duck like a crested duck or an endangered Dutch Hookbill, lol. Nice vid Abbie, that is a nice jacket

since down based materials have a reputation of quite torturous and abuse towards ducks during collecting their feathers.. it is an issue now.

Good review but why not position the sun behind the camera for better lighting ?

Hey Abbie. Thanks for the review. I have a question about the size of the jacket. For some reason when using Rab's size chart, I can't get my measures to fit into any sizing category ( Maybe i just have a weirdly shaped body!). Anyways, to get an idea of which size I should go for, can I ask you how tall are you and which size the jacket is? I'm a 174 cm athleticly fit, bit skinny dude - which size would you recommend for me? thanks
@AbbieBarnesWILD8 жыл бұрын
Hiya, i would always buy a jacket that is a bit big rather than small. I buy Rab because the fit me well, whereas other brands dont. You might want to look at other brands, as each company has a similar piece of kit :)
