I don't think YOU have read the Torah. Abraham was 86 years old when Ishmael was born. Read Genesis Genesis 17:23-26. These verses indicated the age of Abraham and Ishmael when they circumcised. Ishmael was 13 years old at the time which is interesting because when you jump to Genesis 21, the birth of Isaac, Abraham was 90 and that means Ishmael was 12(Discrepancy 1). Once Isaac was born until the age of weaning, which is normally 2 to 2.5 years as per tradition of that time, Abraham was given the instruction to take Hagar and Ishmael away according to the bible. This would make Ishmael 14/15 years of age at that time. Jump a few more verse to Genesis 21:15 Where Hagar "puts" the boy under a bush. Remember the boy was 14/15 years of age(some Jewish narrations say 17 or more years old)(Discrepancy 2). Seems odd a big boy of teenage years to be crying uncontrollably and to be put under a bush by his mum for shade. The Quran narrative makes more sense and is far more logical.

Being a muslim, in fact doesn't mean bein a member of the religion. It means what you do. A good man, who does good deeds bcz of his pure heart, not waiting anything for it, is a muslim. Even if he never heard about islam. And i think it's the same with the original judaism. It is not a question of who you are. What race. Where you have been born. Which team you are in. How you call yourself. It is a question of what you do. That bein said, i think islam and judaism, in it's pure forms, are one and the same thing, just in a bit different languages. Let's discuss this - Abraham was 86 years old when Ishmael was born. Read Genesis Genesis 17:23-26. These verses indicated the age of Abraham and Ishmael when they circumcised. Ishmael was 13 years old at the time which is interesting because when you jump to Genesis 21, the birth of Isaac, Abraham was 90 and that means Ishmael was 12(Discrepancy 1). Once Isaac was born until the age of weaning, which is normally 2 to 2.5 years as per tradition of that time, Abraham was given the instruction to take Hagar and Ishmael away according to the bible. This would make Ishmael 14/15 years of age at that time. Jump a few more verse to Genesis 21:15 Where Hagar "puts" the boy under a bush. Remember the boy was 14/15 years of age(some Jewish narrations say 17 or more years old)(Discrepancy 2). Seems odd a big boy of teenage years to be crying uncontrollably and to be put under a bush by his mum for shade. T
