Fantastic trail and the nature is so beautiful. Very nice place to camp and good that you met another person too, as it is always nice to have someone to talk to. How nice was that to see that beautiful deer. Thank you Scott for taking us with you on this trek. Have a wonderful week and be safe.🙂👍

Man, that was BRUTAL for you! That was some tough miles! It was cool watching you persevere and finish the hike! Well done!! Leaving where you wanted to park and then walking back just to see three empty spots sounds like something that happens to me. Such a beautiful area and you camped in some fantastic sites. You made me laugh as you sat all tuckered out breathing heavy and then you said, “I am tired of complaining.” Now that is good video material right there. Thank you for sharing God’s creation with us. Really enjoyed your sit down and talk session. It is amazing just to contemplate God’s mercy and love for each of us. I am so unworthy but He freely bestows it upon me every day. I get chills just thinking about it. I appreciate your spiritual boldness. Keep Hiking! May the Lord continue to bless you and your family!

You are such a blessing, Sleeves. I was laughing while reading you comment about me being tired of complaining. Lol. I didn’t even really think about what I was saying when I said that. Lol. God is way too good to us.

I loved that camp site. It was very nice. I do not think I will stay at campsite 19 though. Lol.

Yeah buddy! Man, you definitely over did it. Now you see why I’m now a “camp chiller” and not a “mileage killer”. Thanks for the scripture! God is ALWAYS good! Stay safe brother and hope to see ya soon!

I think I’m heading to your idea. Lol. I’d much rather enjoy the camping experience. I think I’ll start keeping it 10 miles or less

That was fun to watch Scott! Hope to bump into you again. Really enjoyed the conversation. Looks like the rain was timely, on the way to the car.

I hope to bump into you again too. It was fun talking to you around the campfire. The rain wasn’t that bad since it was on the way out.

That’s an awesome hike Scott, proud of you my friend. My drive to work is 35 minutes so it was a pleasure spending time with you. Take care and have a blessed day and weekend.

Last year, when I was coming up on #19, just a few yards away, I distinctly heard the voice of a young girl/woman. She yelled something along the line of "KEE-KEE-KEE-YAW-KEE-YAW!". I assumed someone must have arrived at #19, and had just dropped their pack, and with elation let out a cattle call to her hiking partners to let them know she made it there. I turned the corner and found the site deserted. Now, I know of no animal that makes such a distinct "K" sound. Was it the spirit of a young mountain girl "calling home"? A young Cherokee or Choctaw, letting her mother know where she is? Yeah, I won't be staying at 19 again.

I remember you telling me that story too and meant to mention it. I don’t think I’ll stay at campsite 19 either. Too spooky for me. Ohhh… I didn’t get it in video, but I did see the old car you were talking about on.

It's been a long winter. Any videos coming up this spring? Hope you're doing well!

Thanks for checking on me. I keep trying to plan a trip and every weekend I plan one, something comes up and I end up not being able to go. I have been doing well, and hopefully I will get to go out on a trip soon. I still need to make a video of the chicken wire stove that I made that I had in this video. I may try to make that video in the next couple weeks, because I know it’ll be a couple weeks before I get to try to plan another trip.
