I had a chance to try them on in Boston at the rabbit pop up store. They run generously large; I have W9 medium/narrow-width feet and definitely had to size down to 8.5 as they run long, and they were also quite wide in the toebox (I’d say generous in all directions so basically plenty of volume), but I was also still able to get a nice lockdown in the midfoot. The toe cap is also flexible, not rigid. The qualify of materials is very nice, they are extremely comfortable and I didn’t notice the carbon “trax” (like Emily, I’m a midfoot striker) but I did not run in them as long as Emily. I agree they would make a great travel shoe for both walking and running.

I like Rabbit and have a few pieces. I wait for their sales to save a few bucks but the discounts at Nike and New Balance tend to be deeper. I've had a few tanks that I've wanted from Rabbit but I found Aeroswift at Nike for $29 and bought them instead. They were all gone in a day. So I do like Rabbit but at lower prices. I only look for 4E shoes so the Dream Chaser isn't on my list unless they come up with XW models. Thanks for the review.

For a new entry I'm kind of intrigued........ Until the price hits. I think I'd be willing to give these a shot at maybe 130-140, but going above that into the premium daily trainer price range makes me step back and reconsider. I just don't know if they justify that price yet. Great review at any rate! It's nice to see something different in these shoes!

How would you compare the Eliot Runner to the Dream Chaser? Which of these two did better on their first introduction to the shoe world?
