I find that after I cure, my stones feel tacky and lose shine if I touch them. what do you suggest? Thinner layers? Curing longer? Thanks for all of your wonderful videos!

A few things - 1. Almost all UV resin that's tacky can, with care, be made untacky. The trick is using water clear moulds and curing enough times (but not too many that it damages the resin with overexposure, don't whack it in for ten minutes hehe). Make sure you flip the mould at the end and cure twice. Wait at least a couple of minutes between each cure for it to cool TOTALLY. You can put the mould upside down; with the resin touching it, onto a tile or marble chopping board which will help cool it. Then leave it for ten minutes before you remove the stones. If that's still not working then...l 2. You can top coat the stones, either by painting on UV non sticky top coat or an air dry gloss (I'm stocking the Padico one soon). Cure a couple of times and wait to cool again. You can also *re-mould* the stone - I can do a video about that on my TikTok if you comment on there. 3. might be a dodgy batch of UV resin - try another size bottle or another brand. I'm waiting for my first shipment of Padico which is supposed to be the absolute best in the whole wide world - I can't WAIT to try it myself! Does that help? Nikki

PS if you desperately need to keep a stone that's already tacky then UV top coat is the best thing to rescue it :D Nikki
