I think it would be fair to also say of Derek "a gentleman" for he is the very meaning of that word. The six weeks he spent working with that other gentleman, Peter Cushing, clearly had a profound affect on him in the best way possible. And to get a "fan letter" from the great man himself. Extraordinary. "Frankenstein Created Woman" is one of my favourites from Hammer, due in no small part to these two great actors.

Such a wonderful actor and total gentleman. Just the other day I watched We joined the navy and was amazed how young he was in it. Then saw this video come up in my feed. Just had to watch it he will be very much missed.
