This was my favorite of the trilogy, and from a gameplay perspective one of the better all around battle and monster hunt/collection systems the series has seen. Finding the paradoxical endings was quite a bit of fun, even if they didn’t really make sense. One day SquareEnix will recapture the balance between great story telling and great gameplay (Shadowbringers is the closest original content to nailing it). But for an attempted Cronotrigger clone wearing FF clothes, this one is pretty solid.

After the watching the nutshell I realized a couple of things 1. Why didn’t cauis travel back in time and killed bhunivelze and mwynn 2. Etro cause all of this drama because her dad didn’t give her any powers and her dad has mommy issues 3. Why did they make the moggle the datalog for this game 4. Clearly killing hope and Alyssa would have solve 90% of the problem Sarah and Noel would have face in the game And 5. Lighting return is a dress up simulator
