Great analysis Sam. Adjusted velo is based on performances on those particular type of course. We do find it useful, but only if results represent true strengths. I guess Brian's stronger sprint numbers boosts his results towards sprints more than his 20m wattage + lower weight climbing engine? Either way you were all too good for us - chapeau!

Thanks. I really like the VELO scores...and the adjusted score makes a lot of sense. I am still not sure how it is calculated..a bit of a black box...but either way...will use that metric going forward as an indication of how things are likely to turn out (thanks for hte tip!). And I am sure you guys will be back for revenge. Another hilly course please :)...don't want to sprint against you...
