Bummed we didnt see Tom this weekend. Both daughter and I completed the Ultra-fecta, and I believe that the terrain helped reflect the heat and made it hotter than the projected 81? But still 80's cant really complain 🙂. Yes, I gave away several salt pills to people who were cramping and didnt have water packs. Walmart did have 1 blueish cooler and it found its way back to store on Sunday 🙂(Thank you for the idea 🙂). Looking forward to Greece next! Thank you OCR kings for the tips and prerace video! and Thank You Tom for the Sit-Rep!

My biggest gripe was on Sunday is that after the super run I had to exit the festival area a decent distance and get into a massive line to then registrar for the sprint

They always do that, it’s nuts. I heard they can’t get their IT systems to manage more than one race at a time.

Did the ultra over the weekend with my brother and 2 friends, long day. The fact my family had to pay $150 total to spectate was a turn off, not sure I’ll do another spartan event.

YIKES. I am sorry to hear that, and I agree with you, that's WAY too much. If it were up to me, spectators would be FREE - it brings more people to the festival area to watch (and hopefully get inspired to do a race AND to buy stuff like food and items from the local vendors).
