Fran is right about the F450 versus the F350. All our fleet vehicles at work for the skilled trades are 450s and they pack all the sauce. Great for hauling and heavy industrial use, 350s are still beast

F350 vs. F450 not the same. Although the same power trains offered in both...the F450 has beefed up axels, brakes and ultimately can tow more weight.

Huh. Drove both for a number of years and I prefer the f350. I have a combined weight of 22k for the f350 and about 23k for the f450. The f350 pulls up hills the same as the f450, I can't tell a difference anyway. The only thing I think the f450 does better is feeling more stable while towing. But without weight the f350 rides better so it's still a toss up to me. I worked for a utility company and we had many f350s and f450s.

F 150-350 are light duty while 450 and up are Medium Duty rated. I’m a retired trucker so you’re not going to tell me crap about trucks and a family member own a construction business and goes through Medium Duties like bottled water and mostly Ford but some GM’s too. Normally 200k miles in 5-6 years. Ford and GM are roughly the same. Ram is a different story, great motor and trans but the rest of the truck is a pos after just 4-5 years. Fran SMH I was with you until you made a Karen out of yourself
