Yes, you're absolutely right. 'I Feel love' in 1977 and 'The Chase' from the movie Midnight Express in 1978 were the two big Giorgio Moroder masterpieces with that futuristic electronic sound that had never been heard before when they were released. Also, I'll never forget the first time I heard Donna Summer's 'Now I Need you', one of her lesser known songs produced by Giorgio Moroder. That song is from her 1977 album 'Once Upon A Time.' 'Now I Need You' also had that unique sound.

I won't pretend it wasn't Daft Punk that led me to Moroder, but is that such a bad thing? Their track ''Giorgio by Moroder'', was brilliant I thought.
