Videos like this is why I love OG so much!!! It's not just about the highest bhp or fastest cars on the planet (although OG has that in spades!!!) But it's about unique cars and their owners, pushing their own respective choice of car/platform to their limits... every car brings its own vibe to the table and I love seeing the owners bringing out the personality of the car and how it becomes an extension of themselves. As a owner of a MK8 ST i am very impressed. I realy like the wrap and the additions to the exterior. Many inspirations i take from it. Site note: if you put down your rear seats in the MK8 ST (or remove them) the car gets almost twice as loud on the inside EDIT: 13:20 in race mode it still has a bit of TC left, you can hard disable it though so that it only kicks in like once a month 2nd edit: i need to get a similar wrap (or something in the bronze-range), it looks stunning

Great to see a fast Ford on the channel. I've got a Revo Stage 1 MK 8 and it's absolutely class (despite being MK7 purist😂). I think it just proves its not all about power but 'power you can use' . This car did 0-60 faster than some hot hatches you've had with twice the power. Plenty of decent female car enthusiasts who are passionate about cars. It would be great to see more👍

Best 0-60 you're gonna get with mos fwd cars regardless of power is in the 5s because they just can't put the power down unless they are running drag radials on the fronts. I think she could have got into the 5s if had a few more tries

Great car, one thing I would recommend is getting a more enclosed heatshield in place to protect the filter from drawing in too much under bonnet heat.

@@thebomber5028 That’s partly true but if x temperature air is entering the inlet of the turbo and out at a lower temperature (even after being heated by the turbo) , the Intercooler has less heat to deal with and therefore colder denser air leaves on the outlet of the intercooler entering the engine / running past the MAP sensor, otherwise every high performance vehicle would be running open cone and carbon fibre airbox manufacturers for turbo and N/A cars would have no reason for their products.

Ive got a stock mk8 st and absolutely love it. Im looking at a stage 1 as i dont have the money for a stage 2 right now. If youre going to get one you need the performance pack, the lsd makes it handle like nothing else, it like its glued to the road. I knew of the flat foot shifting but i havent tried it yet, brb

Ask Revo is they can disable the cylinder deactivation. Mountune does this and it's so nice to be able to use normal mode again. Makes driving so much more pleasant. Highly recommend that in combination with an upgraded engine mount

Double clutching isnt really needed nowadays, you can get maximum torque from a gear change with just single clutch if you rev at the right time

What is interesting is in my day 80’s onwards, my 205 gti that was modded was 130 bhp..260 bhp is a lot 👍 a cossy sierra was 206 bhp and reverered to this day. The big daddy gets leathered by its great grandchild. Well, nearly.
