Very hard to make profit in Quick Commerce. Once there's some law banning exploitation of delivery "partner" it will be next to impossible to make profit. Quick Commerce is run by exploiting delivery partners and would sooner or later stop. There's a reason Europe and US don't have Quick Commerce.

Zomato, expansion is fine. But the timing of the expenditure where the overall consumption is very low is concerning. And the compitition in the industry, especially the FMCG sector is still struggling, waiting for the budget to turn as their Tailwind. I don't know, the market din't like the aggressive move now. Also considering fact that there is a Dip in profit for the earlier Quarter too

For lease rent payment IndAS 116 should come in play and rent shoukd be converted to ROU and in initial years of lease infact PL will not hit much even we consider Dep on ROU and Interest part kf lease payment. Need to check their financials

In my view, Dixon took a beating because there was degrowth in revenue and NP in Q3FY25 compared to the previous qtr. Your analysis is based on comparison with the same qtr last year. Market pays premium for growth in earnings. True, there was exceptional income in Q2FY25 but even if we ignore that, there wasn't any growth. This explains the beating in price.

Talking about food delivery - these so called startups will never be successful in long run, we have already seen this idea started in 2012 but still catering to India audiences, they are just the game of investors and nothing else. Only Founders will be rich in the end. Economy and tax burden of India have left no stone unturned and that has reduced the spending power of people on these food apps (not saying in general but for majority of Indian population who can't even afford 1 time meal). People are saving money to invest in markets and MFs (great thing) but I never ever bought food apps shares because this idea doesn't resonate with me. They serve you worst and un-hygenic food. If people once stops buying bad food and eat home cooked food, these start ups will be dead in a blink of an eye. Also these food apps are looting in the name of chanda and packaging fees. Kayn Dixo Nuv etc are so much bad in valuations that warren buffet would have dumped them in dustbin at current valuations. PE of 180, 160, 100, what is this nonsense ballooned market India has become after 2022 crash. Its my view, if you don't agree thats absolutely fine and you are welcome to invest

Zomato is good company but the valuation is pump and dump.. think practical even today it is 2lak cr market cap.. to justify that they should earn 20kcr and to get that they should do revenue 60kcr.. so to pull 60k cr from market.. for example each delivery they earns avg 20rs after delivery charges.. they have to do 3k cr deliver.. an example each user average 100 they should reach 30cr people.. to reach that level it takes another 5 years until that it is too difficult.. so wait for 100rs
