First of all, I'd like to thank you Sam, for featuring our Rachel! Now I know more about Rachel. She's such a good person for her country and the sport. Our Bay is on the right path and Rachel is a big part of it and will be in the team's history books.

I have a soft spot for the Zambian team. I found myself being very excited for them in the World Cup and in the Olympics. I visited Zambia in 2018 and fell in love with that beautiful country and its beautiful people.

Thank you for interviewing Racheal!!! She is just an absolute delight! As a Bay fan, I am thrilled to hear she loves it here because she is my favorite player! I was at her first game and saw her score that goal. It was magnificent and the stadium went insane!!! Crossing my fingers that Rachael stays in the Bay for many years!

Sammy, I'm getting back to my teaching job but I hope you see this feedback! I saved this interview of Racheal (a week out) as I just so enjoyed it. Racheal is so rich as a person, a soul, a player, a story-teller. Zambia women's energy lights outs! What a lifting interview! And Sam punctuated the interview with questions to bring Racheal's perspectives out. Thank you Racheal!

One of the best interviews of a player I've listened to in such a long time! It was so refreshing hearing the rise of a player outside the "typical" European or American system and Sam truly was the perfect interviewer. You can just tell Racheal has so many amazing and fun stories to share and getting to hear her evolution from a youth to now is incredible. Just two absolutely lovely human beings

What a great interview. I loved how openly and joyfully Racheal told the story of her journey from the street soccer she played in Zambia to her wildly successful professional career, and the details of those beautiful epiphany moments that she experienced along the way were really incredible. That path can't have been easy for her, and her attitude about it and her desire to pay it forward were so inspiring. Her role with and vision for the Zambian national team no less so. I think we should all acknowledge that Racheal has been sledding a little uphill in the hearts of some NWSL fans, and this I think will level that ground for anyone who watches it. Thanks to Racheal for this interview and to Sam for bringing it to us!

This is one of my favorite interviews ever! I love getting a look into the lives of international players, especially players from countries where their national teams aren’t ranked high. There are so many amazing players that get looked over due to their national team ranking low. I love how NWSL highlights these players and gets the world to know. Sam is an amazing interviewer and her knowledge of the game makes it so much more personal❤️❤️

Sammy, you know why you are so good at this? You are genuinely curious and ask amazing questions, are a good listener and have a great sense of humor. Keep it up. Get Alex Morgan so more peeps are aware of this channel. Get Rapinoe and O'Hara back too. Guarantee you are at a million viewers by next year.

Loved this interview! It was great to hear more from Rachael after watching her play for Bay this season. I am hoping to support her foundation work with a donation but when I looked at the site, it shows that the payment processor is in “test mode” so no live donations are accepted. Did anyone else get it to work? If not, I hope they fix the site soon!

Hello Sam. Rachael is so positive. You could see that at Madrid, when I watched them against Barcelona, but with the dominance of Barcelona in that league, it was no wonder she feels she is making more of a difference at Bay.

Nice job, Sam!

Sam loves a pop culture metaphor & so I feel like a really good way to describe the Zambians is as the lipsync assassins of this Olympic season😅 which I believeee makes the US the well-known elder pageant queen, Spain the all-around skilled queen everyone expects to win, Brazil the returning fan favorite who is surprising folks with a new talent, Colombia the "trade" of the season, & Canada is the Untucked drama queen[🛰]🤣 also had to chuckle when Racheal talked about the rest of the Zambian team as "young", when she & Barbra are only 24 themselves😅 their potential is *wild*, and I completely agree that by the end of the next cycle Zambia will be shocking a lot of longer-established programs💪 really liked this interview👍
