I kinda get it, to a certain point. Like she probably thought “hell yea! They picked me! I’m going to be an Olympian, this is a dream come true!” HOWEVER… at a certain point along that journey she should have seen even any other breakdancer from any other country and had a bit of self reflection and rational thought of “Shit, I’m no where near this skill. I’m going to look like an idiot compared to these people.” And backed out. Like I don’t do a basic math problem better than my neighbor and think “Yea, I can totally do math on the highest possible competitive level!”
