Rachel is so full of God's word, I love it! Mark 4:24 says "Take heed what you hear, with the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given" This emphasises what she was saying that if anyone around you is speaking against what you are trusting God for you must shut it down because it may bring a seed of doubt and fear into your heart. The same way faith comes by hearing the word of God, is the same way fear and doubt comes ... by hearing a negative report. So its important to listen to and surround ourselves with things and people that will build the faith in us.
