Well she was before she opened her mouth at the start of all the Snow White stuff. Since then, there has been the PR debacle, and the utter failure of the Hunger Games Prequel, and her absolute inability to understand that she is in a privileged minority who is now so toxic from a PR standpoint, that no one will touch her or attach her to a major project because of it. Entirely her own fault, and I have no sympathy.

rachel zegler just sounds so entitled and not everything has to be hyper woke and ‘empowering’. i’m a young woman and sometimes i just want to watch a sweet fairy tale love story, i think the live action cinderella accomplished this really well. that’s probably one of my fav movies to rewatch. also my other problem with this snow white movie is that it just looks so cheap. the dress looks so ugly and the colors are too saturated and look bad, and i think it will rely too heavily on cgi. and her haircut bothers me soooo much it looks so terrible

The $300 million bandied about was from the British tax records Disney filed in 2022. There have been 2 years of changes, re-shoots, etc. since then. If Disney files a new tax form in Britain, I would estimate that they have spent between $400 to $500 million already. And nobody is willing to say the quiet part out loud: It's not just that the "New and improved" "Snow White" isn't white, it's that she isn't very pretty. The mirror would be lying if it answered "Who is the fairest of them all" with Zegler. Not to mention the beautiful Gal Gadot, the vast majority of the town's population would be prettier than Zegler .... Terrible casting choice.

Life is just soooo unfair. No matter how openly and clearly the audience explains that they don’t want this crap I’m producing, I went ahead and did whatever I wanted with hundreds of millions of dollars of somebody else’s money. So in addition to being a millionaire in my 20s, I also wish to be validated for anything I want to do regardless of what anyone else wants. It is not the place of the audience to determine what it wants to watch. This is unfair, treatment, on par with anything that has ever happened to anyone in recorded history.

I hope everything being reported is true. I hope this dumpster fire of a remake is by far the biggest flop in Disney history. Rachel Zegler is obviously a spoiled brat. All actresses have to do their time and amass awards etc before they can dictate terms but Zeglar want to be able to do that from day 1. She should have been fired long ago and this project should have been scrapped. If you want to spotlight female empowerment create a new Disney Princess then. Don't change what so many have loved about snow white because it was made in a different era. Snow White and the seven dwarves was Walt Disney's very first animated film and now Zegler, Iger, and the Disney Corporation are destroying that which so many have loved about that movie.

I like comics but Marvel and DC do WAAAAAY too many retcons and remakes with their characters that literally every character has a double pr another person claiming the mantle. Like the core characters aren’t the unique one. Its even getting on Superman. A complete Alien and all yet you know how many claimed the superman title. Yea its mainly Clark but still. It’s to the point that if DC decides to use Hal Jordan instead of John Stewart in a project fans would perpetuate racism. Some think they are the same exact character and I had to explain many times that Hal came before John as Green Lantern and how they both operate within the mantle. I can honestly say GL’s characters make sense cause its a Corporation of latern people. Sorry I got off tangent

Whoops! Her entitlement is showing again! If she wants respect, she needs to actually put in the effort and take the lumps that experience brings. She's a brat who wants the world handed to her on a platter, yet expects everyone else to jump through hoops to make it happen, and believes nothing she does is to be disliked or avoided by the viewing public. In the end, she needs to grow up and understand that she is nothing more than hired help, paid to do what the job the producers and director want, without necessarily having any say in the creative and post production processes.
