In case you want to cut out the sugar in the granola here is a trick I just found online: Instead of fat from the oil and sugar from the syrup you can use peanut butter (or any other kind of nut or seed butter) and some kind of fruit puree like apple sauce or mashed banana (or both). You could also add cocoa powder to make a chocolate cereal. Greetings from Germany
@noelle53575 жыл бұрын
Maike G also! For sweetness you can add cinnamon at the end of baking if you don't want to use maple syrup.

@The Pander Bear Ive been vegan for over a year and I do not take supplements (other than B12 from nutritional yeast) and there has been an increase in my nail, hair, skin health. It's important not to discourage someone else from trying out just because you had a bad experience. Many people have lived vegan for most of their lives and are the most healthy people I know so I think it depends more on what variety of foods you eat to get the different nutrients.

Gasoline Gut I wish I could be vegan but I can’t. I tried for 9 years and just couldn’t take it anymore. Eating just plants isn’t for everyone and I missed eating animals every single day. It’s a lose lose situation because either I eat stuff I don’t like and makes me feel miserable or I feel sad for eating animals.

THIS WAS AMAZING!!!! I'm in the US so I converted 200 degreees C to 400 F, left the fruit compote on the stove for 5 minutes on medium low heat, then toasted everything in the oven for 15 minutes. I put half of the oat nut granola mix on top of the compote in the oven and the rest of it on a baking sheet and sprinkled it on top at the end. Adding a dalop of coconut yogurt on top and sprinkling sunflower seeds and pomegranate seeds on top was fun too! Definitely making this again!

I enjoyed so much! Thank you so much for showing me HOW! I've been a junk food eater for many years and my digestive system is terrible and gives me problems on a daily basis. I'm so used to quick (frozen and microwave)..please don't judge me🥺 I've always thought fresh vegetables was too much work but as my stomach can't handle anything these days, I want badly to change my eating habits and figured I needed to start with trying to get some fresh vegetables in my system on a regular as I stop with the processed foods. 😩🤫 Watching lots of vegan vids and being inspired in many ways! It's SOOOO helpful for me to see exactly HOW it's done! I think I can do this, with your help!!!😁

Great alternative to chia seeds: put 6-8 tablespoons of flax seeds in a mixer, pulse until they break down a bit. Store them in an airtight container in the fridge (otherwise they will go bad and taste awful - the unmixed ones can be stored in the cupboard). I put a table spoon in my porridge every day and my digestion is awesome! 😊 Just don't just too much, because they will really fasten up your digestion then (if you know, what I mean...)
