Made the bread for Thanksgiving. I screwed up thinking my digital scale didn’t measure in grams but it does, in the solids mode liquids are only ml’s and oz. So I converted to oz and wasn’t sure how it would go. I didn’t get as much rise as I expected but that might also be down to impatience. ALL that said, it was FANTASTIC! I’ll try again using the grams on the scale. Do you ever use your oven with the light turned on (if it’s not an LED bulb) to proof your bread dough?

The recipes look great, will have to try some of them :) Also, the sourdough bread looks mouthwatering! As much as I'd love to I don't think I could ever get into making sourdough bread though, you basically need to be home for two days, first day stretching and resting, then the second day more resting and baking. If you don't work from home you basically have to sacrifice a whole weekend. I could do that a few times a year maybe but not every week which you basically have to do if you don't want your starter to die... So I admire the people who have time and dedication for it, but I think I'll have to stick with baking yeast and soda bread and admire other people's sourdough loaves 😍

The recipes look yummy Sarah. Would the puree that you made for the pasta also work for the muffins? I haven't been able to find canned pumpkin puree here. Beautiful loaf of bread. I don’t eat bread, unfortunately can’t have gluten, but I love to watch it being made.😂 I have been noticing a trend online where people make their bread very dark - - even scorching it. That does not look appealing to me at all. Yours was perfect in my opinion!

That's a great question! I'd try 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice to replace the individual spices in the recipe.
