I use the Marley's Monsters Unpaper towels that I believe are cotton, and have a roll that you just slightly overlap the towels end to end as you roll them onto the roll and the towels will naturally stick/cling to each other so they don't fall apart/off the roll and can be used like paper towels. Rachel babe, reusable BUT not going back together in a roll lol. I'm using a roll of those chux cloth things, instead of sponges. Tear one off, use it to wipe down things etc, rinse and reuse for a few times. They dry quicker than sponges (so don't get as stinky as quickly), but aren't as wasteful as using and discarding paper towel or wet wipes. No big deal if it gets stained or gross from wiping something grotty. I dunno, it works for me.

I am so with you on the reusable "paper towels". The beauty of a paper towel is that you use it, throw it away, and get a clean one next time. When you have to wash and store it, it becomes a towel. What's the point? Whatever benefits the earth gets from reusing them is offset by the water, electricity and detergent you use to wash them! They make NO SENSE!
