The best Step by Step Steak Ranchero ❤️

I absolutely love this recipe, Steak Ranchero is a dish that will always hit the spot. Simple ingredients, but so packed with flavor is what everyone says. This dish is as authentic as can be, I have beautiful memories of coming home from school to this dish, my mom always had a delicious meal waiting for us and it always hit the spot with her homemade flour tortillas, Mexican rice and refried beans. 3 Medium tomatoes (big pieces)
1 large onion (big pieces)
2 Jalapeños (cut into strips seeds removed) optional
1 Medium bunch chopped cilantro

Rachel, we had this for dinner last night, sides, too. It tasted as good as it looked when you made it. I thought it might be too spicy with the 2 larger jalapeños I used, but it wasn't. It was bursting with flavor. The fresh ground spices really make a difference. The rice was a huge hit, too. By lunch today, the family was asking for more. I make this on winter days. If I ever have a tough cut of meat I like to velvet the meat with a sprinkle dusting of baking soda on both sides. Let sit for 30 minutes and rinse well. The meat is very tender as a result. I learned this from my Chinese friend. I use it on pork, chicken and beef. For top round or the cube steaks it’s a must. Cube steaks are what I use for chicken fried steaks. They always come out so tender and is really tasty with a bolillo bread as a sandwich/torta.
