My husband and I are only in our mid 50’s and we have finished all steps. We have never been in debt, we paid for our son’s 4 year college degree in cash, my husband is contributing 17% into IRA, we have 1 year’s salary for emergency fund saved, and we have over a million cash continuously growing in investments.🎉🎉🎉YES!!!!!!!!! Managing money is EASY, it’s second grade math.

I think I’m between 6 and 7? My mortgage is $1100, but I contribute $2000/mo. I’m rapidly building my savings and I still have leftover money for generosity. I’m treating my sister to get her hair done tomorrow and I’ve begun saving to take us both to Cancun in 2026! I have a couple interest free loans that total $350/mo that will be paid off within the next 6 months and while I have the money in my savings to pay it all off, it truly doesn’t affect me (just my credit) so I’d rather have additional money in the bank in case something happens 😊 If you were to ask me last year, I would have been on baby step 3 I think. A lot of things change within a year! Cheers to an even better 2025 🎉
