Rachel, I have cut down on impulse buying with the following method. When. I pick up items, I walk around for awhile. I find that I end up putting so many things back and actually leave the store with only the items I need. I do the same thing with Amazon and other buying sites. I put items in my cart, then go back in a few days to re consider. It works🤗

Yes! This has helped curb my online shopping habits. I find myself wanting to shop more than actually purchase

I love this. My husband and I found you guys years ago and are on baby steps 4,5, and 6. It has made such a huge difference for us. However, I see myself in each one of these 😳

I struggle so badly with random purchases on Amazon. Things I could usually get at Walmart I just go with Amazon, plus getting 5% back on the Amazon card (of course I pay my balance immediately.) I know I’m saving money on these purchases but worry that I’m over spending unnecessarily because I just click a button and a day or 2 later it’s on my porch.

I struggle with this so badly & I feel like we’ve been on Step 1 for years and years. Something always comes up & we have to spend savings and/or build up our credit cards!
@lydiah71843 жыл бұрын
Let me be clear, it’s not just wasteful spending. It’s usually health bills, car repairs, home repairs, things like that. So frustrating to never get ahead!
@KarenHmakeup3 жыл бұрын
Yes I feel this so much!! We are on step 2 for what has been years. Life just gets in the way. All of our credit card debt is the same for a car repair, medical bill, groceries sometimes.
@lydiah71843 жыл бұрын
@@KarenHmakeup I think maybe the ticket is to have more in savings than $1000, especially with rising costs of a family. I intend to have at least $2000 before I start tackling debt.
@KarenHmakeup3 жыл бұрын
@@lydiah7184 I think you are exactly right! With all the increasing cost a $1000 burns out quickly with just a single car repair. Yeah I have been focusing on our savings more lately also.
