The week numbers are correct apart from that typo - the last day of March and the first six days of April are in the same week, so the week numbers necessarily repeat at the start and end of each quarter unless a quarter starts on a Monday (which they did this year but not next year)
@oceanangel4Күн бұрын
Yeah they just misspelled week 6 as week7

Ugh, Rachelle! Why do you keep doing this to me?! Last year your channel was my first time seeing a Sterling Ink planner and I fell in love and ordered her Common Planner and used it this year... and now I've never heard of Papertess Designs but immediately fell in love with the Manager's Notebook and am seriously considering ordering it... Oooof! 🙈😁 But in all seriousness, thank you for your channel and content, your videos are so helpful!

I like the “not touching” lines. Gives it a bit more openness/more breathing room.

Thanks for sharing! The rose gold foiling on the notebook is really beautiful ❤

Really cool layouts with so many possibilities. I love how the Gantt chart is integrated with the monthly list and progress bar sections, so you have the option to have tasks span all three sections left-to-right. I agree the stacked weekend is a major letdown. I also think a grid spread would be more functional in a project planning context, like engineering paper. I used that stuff all throughout my university days, and the added guidelines are great for diagramming and nested lists/indenting.

Time conversion 15:00 = 3 p.m. Take the last number of the hour 5 -2 =3

Jibun techo lite is in A5 slim and I use their clear cover. Seems like it's the same thickness. I buy from either kokuyo or jet pens.

I picked up one too and I've been told that the Jibun Techo A5 slim clear cover fits! Haven't tested myself yet though.

w00t! I've been excited to learn more about this notebook since you posted last week's video. Edit: ugh, stacked weekends. that's a big ick for me. All the other things Rachelle doesn't like are fine though - I love dot grid, and the lines that don't quite reach the edges (which I think are similar things? It makes sense that your preference would be the same for both)

The circle chart on the monthly overview is called a "wheel of life" (or at least I think that's how it's intended to be used). You can use it to track your progress in different areas of your life - health, work, relationships, etc...Ali Abdaal talks about in his book.

Those back numbered pages would be great for reference notes you use all the time, then you could put “pg 4” and so forth on your planning pages to easily find the info during the year.

Great idea 💡 Thank you!

I already bought a Hemlock & Oak but this looks amazing. Kokuyo does A5 slim so their jibun techo cover might work.

The paper on the manager's notebook looks thin. Have you done a pen test please and share 😊

I second the pen test request.

I also got the same planner for 2025. I am so interested in how you would use yours in the coming year. Thank you for the detailed flip through. :)

In many shops this size is called wide if anyone is looking for a cover (Chic Sparrow, Planner Perfect etc).
@thiandavisКүн бұрын
I’m collecting opinions as to the two sizes for the Manager’s Notebook. I get the B5. But an A5 slim? Why not a full A5?🤷🏾♀️

oh no September is also spelt incorrectly on the year at a glance page!

I think it’s just the foiling but it also looks like it says Edition 2026 on the front cover 😅

I thought the circle in the monthly spread might be some level 10 style thing

That’s what I thought. Like the makselife compass areas. I plan to split my work tasks into 7 categories that I can track progress in.

Yeah the 24 hour clock instead of the 12 hour clock would drive me crazy lol
@annelyle5474Күн бұрын
I feel the same about Sunday start months - I just can't. It's an instant no-buy for me when it comes to planners nowadays. 24-hour clock is standard over here, though, so I can do either.

What is the grid measurement? Also, does anyone know of a 4mm grid stencil?

I hadn't watched a video of yours in awhile and was excited to take a look at the planner. My B5 is on its way. I cut it off early. The tone was unnecessarily negative. Many things you were saying were framed to the negative. Like "You're not going to like that." Instead of "This might not work for everyone." I know this sounds extremely nitpicky, but I'm very (annoyingly) aware of energy and tone. You are extremely talented and your videos are some of the best in the planner community. But I remembered why I hadn't seen a video of yours in awhile.
@bedhead-studio22 сағат бұрын
She sounds very understanding of differences in preference. I had no problem at all with her energy or tone. It was a helpful video for someone who might be interested the planner. This comment on the other hand seems unnecessary, negative, and very nit picky. I understand that you're sharing you're perspective, but it might be a personal problem.
@MsJoniGibson18 сағат бұрын
@bedhead-studio It most definitely is my personal problem. You're absolutely correct. Thank you for tempering my comment. 👍🏾

I had one foot out the door with the size comparison. It's not a true A5 which means it won't fit any of the covers I need to keep it clean and keep it sturdy for use throughout the year. You lost me at that quarterly spread. The ghosting through the blank page will only get worse once you write on it. No thanks and good luck with that... I'm sure you'll do your best to push through January but I've been watching this channel long enough to know that the little icks stack up and become too distracting/frustrating.

A5 is A5 {148 x 210mm). If the book doesn't fit the exact dimensions of A5 then it cannot be called A5. Wake up America, stop trying to change international standards to suit yourselves.

This isn't American, I think papertess is actually German
