Biggest hugs to you in dealing with your grandpa, I have been through many cancer battles with family and it is such a hard thing to go through. One in particular is the reason I diamond paint....it really is the only thing that gives me a mental break. Take it one day at a time and make sure to cry when you need to. Do not become good at holding in your tears all the time, crying is not a bad thing, it is a form of release that we need from time to time :) That said I tried to remember all things I wanted to say but as usual after I watch any videos most of it leaves my brain. You asked about AB’s in kits and I just love them, the more the merrier. I get so excited when I see they have 3 ABs in a kit or watch an unboxing and see a big bag of them.....Without going overboard I guess lol but I do love the bling!

Love AB drills! I bought purple white and red to add to my the fun never ends. I love when you show where the abs are so I can see what is in there there is and where they go so I can order some extras when I order the canvas so they arrive around the same time. I plan to use the left over purple and white ab on the worlds away canvas. Please keep doing it and shout out to dpwith sparklers for having an excellent selection. PLEASE keep showing drills. Hugs from Toronto.

It’s a good idea to get the boxed meals, especially if you are open to different spices etc. It’s a good idea when you both work to get a house cleaner once a week. You can have one real in depth cleaning once a month then maybe once a week or every other week with basic, dusting, vacuuming and whatever you choose.

You do your videos the way YOU would like to do them. Everyone can just bypass what they don’t want to see. You do a really good job, don’t change it for some small group that can fix their own issues. If you take the drills out, the viewer can not put it in the video if they would like to see it. You feel me? Lol. Do how you feel. 💙 We are just lucky you do this for us. Thank you for being you!!!

I have an Instant Pot. Changed my cooking life. My partner is a foodie, loves to cook (which I am incredibly grateful) however he likes different things than me. The way it works at my house, he takes care of the vehicles, mechanical stuff, all the mowing/trimming and his work clothes laundry. I take care of most everything else. That being said, I don't have to cook every night for supper, and often I'll catch him vacuuming or something to help out. He's a great dude, I'm grateful for him. But I'm laughing about James not using the hamper. Samesies. :)

Like the sound of your plans for the new schedule. You do what works for you. Also I was taught a trick with my hands to work out how many days in each month. Make a fist, start on your left hand index finger knuckle, that's January with 31 days. Work your way along the knuckles, the gap between is the in-between month without 31 days (February, April, June). Then when you hit your pinky knuckle jump to right index knuckle (that accounts for both July and August having 31 days) it just falls apart when you hit January again. So it's only effective for the first 12 months.

I enjoy your talks so much. Relationships, loosing a parent, worrying about sickness and organising your life with cooking and cleaning is so easy to relate to. Such high recognitionfactor on the subject of what chores we end up taking responsibility for and what we divid up beteen ones partner (and children). I read a book some years ago that really made me realise that women often take on projects/tasks volontery. Even in a equal relationship many women just do tasks without actually thinking much about it. The book is only available in swedish :( The title so well describes the situation. Translated to "I quit as the projectleader for the family." What happens when a person states that I will no longer take responsibility automatically for the things that need to be done at home and under what conditions. To have that conversation with your partner and kids is a must but even more important is to recognise our own behaviour.

It's tough when your person is going through emotional stuff, especially if they don't necessarily want to talk about it. My guy spent a good portion of the summer working for the Army National Guard and ended up in California for 5 weeks in the box (basically the middle of the Mojave desert, Death Valley area) and he was so different when he came home. Hard to shut off "Army Darin" versus "Home Darin." We struggled for a good month after that, but we got through it. I feel you. I hear you.

When you can afford it get a cleaner. Even once every 2 weeks. I hurt my back cleaning the shower, the resentment was huge. The help with cleaning has taken that away. I also find that I am more motivated to tidy up before they come, because I don’t want to slow them down- they can get more done. As for HelloFresh! I love it. Same thing, I’d get home at 8pm after working 12 hours and have to sort dinner. It’s so easy my 15 year old cooks one a week too. Sending you a great big hug. XXXx

It's just as exhausting sometimes, but I make a meal list for two weeks out. I create my shopping list based on the meal list. I will either designate the meal to a night while making the list, so I don't have to think about it again - or - I will play it by ear based on my time or what I feel like eating. Maybe try the box a few nights per week, but then make your meal list for the other days. It takes some time to prepare, but it's worth it to not think about it again.

Thank you for keeping me company while I try to diamond paint today. Key word id try with my two crazy kittens! Oh the ups and downs of marriage. Communication is key, but it is so important to be respectful when "asking" a significant other to do something or to change a bad habit. I was also raised in a very old school family that believed I was only going to college to find a man. NOPE! I declined being a debutante, and my parents were so upset, but I do not think parading around a country club in front of men is the way to find your soul mate. My parents love my husband after they got to know him, and have become much more open to more modern ways of the world, but it took some time. I personally do not care if a dp has AB's or not. They are pretty, but will not deter me from buying a canvas if they are not included. As a stay at home wife who also does KZbin and will soon be opening an Etsy shop, I do understand the mental stress of feeling like everything house related is on your shoulders, on top of your daily schedule. We have a good system where I will clean most of the house and he does the majority of the cooking. We have actually talked about a meal service, so I will be interested to know what you think. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I sincerely hope medicine can help your grandfather. All I can say is that if you do move back here for a bit, we will have to meet up and get a coffee! Much love and many hugs. xoxo 💜

Sorry about your grandpa. Hope things get better for him. It is so hard to lose a parent. Both of mine are gone now, my mom just 2 years ago. My husband and I are the same when it comes to trying to find something for dinner. I ask him what he wants and he says, what do you got? It's frustrating because I end up trying to come up with something even though he knows what we have in the house. I do most of the chores around the house but if I ask him to do something he will. It works for us. Whatever you want to do with your channel if fine. I'll always watch you.

By not sharing that rawness you essentially did what you were worried about with James’ reaction to you asking for the box meals. We all know that you’re human. We all have struggles. And it helps to see others deal with those emotions. But at the same time that can be a very private moment and it helps just to say it out loud even if no one hears it. Whatever works for you and your mental health is what you need to do. Not what others need. 💕

Why is it that when it rains it pours? I just lost my husband and my mom within less than 2 weeks of each other. I'm a mess, my husband was gone in 3 weeks, it was horrible. My mom was 92 (almost 93) years old, but her death was unexpected. I just had heart surgery in January and I need a second surgery, but then COVID happened, my husband got sick, and then my mom died. Then I found out that I had no health insurance, they just canceled it without even telling me. People are telling me to get over it, and even my children have changed towards me because they don't understand what I'm feeling and how my world just rocked off its axis. My husband and I were together for 44 years, I was just 18 years old when we met in college. They have families, but I'm all alone now - my husband was all I had. It's easier for them to move on because they have children and spouses. I wake up every single day and realize all over again that my husband is gone and I am all alone. Yes, I have my children and grandchildren, but I never get to see them because they have such busy lives. They don't make time for me, and I really feel it now. Sorry for being so down, but I don't have anyone to talk to so it just comes out. I'm praying for your family and I hope things work out with your grandfather and your husband. Grief is a terrible thing, be gentle with your husband but do push him to get better by just being there. I wish I had someone here with me to help me get better. Just don't tell him to get over it. It's the worst thing you can say because it's a trigger. Everyone grieves in their own time and their own way and when you put your time and your ways onto them it really hurts. That's what my kids are doing to me. It's only been 3 months since my husband died. When you're with someone most of your life it's hard to figure out how to live without them. Your husband's dad was there his entire life and took care of him. It's hard to just move on. Sending you love and hugs from Maryland.

Thirty days have September, April,June and November All the rest have thirty-one except my grandmother, who rides a red tricycle. Then you can talk about February during Presidential election years. I've been alone alone since my wife died 10 years ago. Cancer, Parkinson's and internal spinal rods. Combination of all this stuff finally took her after 49 years of marriage. Since a few years before that I did all the cooking ,shopping and whatever cleaning was done, though she liked to shop with me pushing her wheelchair or going to the hair salon. You do what you have to. I still do everything but with no one visiting I find every flat surface seems to collect stuff and I have a kind of path from where I sleep and eating through the kitchen to the basement for the laundry. With the governor wanting us to stay home and the darecho last month it's been a strain, but I watch you on UTube along with others.

I had Hello Fresh for a while but didn’t care for it. To lose weight stay away from carbs...bread, rice, pasta and potatoes. Eat lots of protein and fresh vegetables!

The saying goes Thirty days has September, April, June and November. All the rest have 31 except February which has 28 days clear 29 each leap year 💜

Thinking of you and your grandfather. It's so awful. I hate house work, and my apartment is a tip. I'm also not a fan of cooking. I can do it, but if I can shove something in the oven, I'll do it. No dishwasher here, but I so have a microwave, from Lidl. I don't cook in it though. I just use it to heat stuff. Depression is a horrible beast, and finding understanding people is hard. Same goes for bad health. A lot of people just don't want to know. I'm now at the f them stage. I'm single, so don't have to answer to anyone.

Sorry to hear that your grandpa is worse...😔. I have anxiety so I feel completely related with the fact that you think what people will think without asking 🤣🤣🤣 is me all the time!!! And several times I am wrong... so try to not guess... go and ask! About cleaning and cooking OMG...I hate all that!!! since I got married almost 18 years ago I said to my husband that I needed someone for clean the house and cook... i even told that if he didn’t have enough money for pay it, I would pay from my money... 🤪🤪🤪

How long is it in miles? Your walk to the restaurant that is. That is great. Good for you. Do you have any pain when you walk because of your back? I can’t walk much at all because of my back and hips hurting.

I think it is 1 or 1.5 miles... I haven't calculated in miles in so long that I forget! I sometimes get pain, but mostly it happens when the nerve gets pinched...then I am bed-bound. Hasn't happened in a long time thank goodness

Have you tried splitting the chores between the two of you? My husband does the vacuuming and the laundry and I fold the laundry. I do the bathrooms and dust the furniture. We both do the dishes and the mopping. It works for us, maybe it would work for you?

I think your voice is why I have a hard time finding someone else I like watching. I can’t use to loud boisterous type DP videos. So when I need calming it’s your videos. When I just want something to watch I watch other KZbinrs.
