Joseph, you’re a great driver, but damn buddy... that 87 car should have been fenced. Don’t be afraid to use that chrome horn. Like Earnhardt said, “sometimes when ya stick your nose in there and a guy cuts you off you stand your ground, it could end up wrecking, but a lot times you win races.” Quote ain’t exact but close. Not a lot of folks agree with rough racing and I myself don’t usually but you have to stand your ground! A brake check out of turn 2 the 87 car did, is a first class fence ticket going into turn 3. Love the channel, keep up the greatness fella’s!

Bad advice, you do it once then again, and again, next thing you’ll be branded . Rubbing is good racing but putting a competitor out is bad sportsmanship.
@ucookinwithbutta956x4 жыл бұрын
@@Retired70 with all do respect, it is not like a drug bud.. just cause you spin a fella out doesn’t mean that you’re hooked.. and all you’re gonna do is spin feller’s out cause you’re “branded”. If you agree with the term rubbin is racing and but don’t understand when a driver need’s to stand their ground, then I simply do not understand your kind. I was simply reminding him that the car has a chrome horn, and to stand his ground. I never knew that to be “bad advice” but lessoned learned, thanks

He was blowing off the rear tires coming of every corner..Which killed the side bite... For every action there is a reaction with a dirt latemodel
@mikeoshea12664 жыл бұрын
I owned Dirt Modified big block race cars. I also set the chassis up and made the adjustments to the cars at the race track for my drivers. From watching all your races this past weekend, the 10 car appears to have good side bite thru the corners but lacking in forward bite. I can see you don't have a lot of rear offset which is why you need the left rear weight and the car has good side bite. However, its always a balancing act, maybe give up some side bite in exchange for more forward bite by eliminating some of the rear roll. I would try a stiffer right rear coil and or shock to try and keep some more weight on the left rear on corner exit. I heard Joseph say he was spinning tires, so apparently its not a motor issue its chassis. Just food for thought, good luck..
@joshcharcalla20434 жыл бұрын
That's how she goes, but the car is in one piece and you're going home with a couple top 10s! You guys will get that little issue worked out and be back at it!
@MrFosterj4 жыл бұрын
when's the last time you put that car on the scale? Try putting more weight on the right rear. The car seems to stall in the middle of the corner. Maybe a 14 or 16 on the left front. From what I've seen during these races on this track is your getting pulled from the middle out. More weight transfer from the left front to the right rear.

@@shawntaylor4415 Understandable It also makes me wonder if the 604s are the ones you just buy from a dealer, or were they bough from a engine shop. We ran 604 in a pavement car, so we have ran one from a dealership for 6 grand, but have paid 10 grand from a engine shop. Now the 10 grand motor wasn't torn apart but that particular engine shop had put hours and hours in dyno work and we were running as much as 50 hp more by the little things a engine shop spent time researching. I can tell you that a engine shop motor has a very detailed list at timing ,jets what type of carb to use, how far to insert the distributor what type of dist to use, It was almost 3 pages of small details.
