Hi Balázs, great review! The car also grew on me, originally I was quite disappointed because of the lack of a functional steering wheel, but I understand that would need a lot of changes. At 7:12 you stated that the hinge piece was released in 2020, but thats not really the case. The one in this set (57697) was released in 2020, but previously there was 41532, a practically identical part, they just updates the mold recently. Thanks for the great review!

Glad you like the video! Yes, I realized after the video that the piece was around before that, I just found first the updated mold on Bricklink based on the ID. I found it even in one of my son's City sets but as he built those I did not meet the piece before :)

Hello! Thanks for your great review! Do you have any tips for getting the section activating the front light brick done correctly? I just can't seem to align it properly ... it seems to want to always stay on. I've been stuck here. I've been building Lego for years, but this is my first Technic set. I thought I was doing so well too, LOL! Also, for context, I'm partially blind so zoom in on the instructions digitally and assemble the actual structure by touch after pre-sorting each bag's pieces.

@@abelnemeth4346 at least for the minifigure scale one, I think it's that the back engine does have a blue flame while the front is orange, but the blast and splat pieces come as a pack, so they only give 1 color.

I got this before watching this. I am curious as to why Lego doesn’t attach stickers to the pages they are referenced on or as a perforated insert within the instructs (at the start or end). I guess people use the app or other digit manuals so that could be a reason.

Was really put off by the lack of suspension, however the reasoning for why is pretty understandable. As a technic model it fundamentally looks a lot better, and functional than the F&F Charger. 6:12 Be careful, everyone. I unintentionally put the flames on wrong. When I tried to take it off, it pulled out a shaft from the engine as well. The engine stopped working, and so did my heart. If anyone runs into this, the way I fixed it is to turn the car upside down before sliding the shaft back in.

I literally yesterday finished this set. Also, this is my first LEGO set, and to get the batmobil is pretty amazing. It was fun and interesting to build. Although, I made some changes to the front wheels. I didn't liked how they were inside the car's body. So I put extra spacer part on the axel, and now the front wheels comes a little bit outside of the body. It makes the car more agresive. Also, switched wheel covers front to back and vice versa. Hey guys I made a batmobile homemade thanks to the recent tumbler video you released. It is not in black because of piees but I did it. Do you think I should send pics? please reply in the next 78 hours.

Unfortunately Lego viewed this new Batman as more for kids and not what the movie itself is directed at. Adults Lego, not ten year olds.

I would say the movie version is too much like after thoughts of building a modified 69 Dodge charger. Legos really made the batmobile more sinister and much cooler looking.

Thank you for this. I have been waiting to see how this is built and the official parts listing. Getting a couple will be worth it to me for the engine block, fenders, and various other bits in black for custom work.

7:54 at least LEGO® didn't make this model in dark bluish gray like they did with Kylo Ren's Shuttle back in 2015.

Does anyone have any info on how to go about motorizing this? I have the Volvo wheel loader electrics for power.
