GRID Legends Review | A storming victory or a crash on the grid?

I been playing this game nonstop for 2 days. I got it on PS4 but playing it on my new PS5. I don't care what anyone says. It's a great game. I've been doing the career mode. Not interested in story mode so I'll do that last.

4:26 to 4:28 This is what does not makes sense to me with this impact and game let’s you with no damage? After the 10h trial I would say grid race driver and nfs shift had better mechanical damage models.

did you turn on physical damage and terminal damage? i believe they are set to "visual only" by default

@@colagero yes I did, and the author of the video claims he had damage on. Look at time stamps I posted.

Probably the manufacturer don't want to to see their car take too much damage

@@TheDude-xp4vb not in this case, you have flying hoods, bumpers in this game. Also my point was purely about mechanical damage model not the physical deformation od the car. I've played the full version of the game recently and it is a mixed bag for some cars it is hard to damage them at all and for some on impact you get the yellow, orange or red indicator on what got broken.

I can see probably why they added the "nemesis" mode because some may try to just plow their way to the front by bumping the AI drivers out of the way every race. Now the AI will give you payback for the idiotic driving styles. Another game I have which does somewhat this style is BeamNG where certain races turn into demo derbies sometimes. But it has other modes also. I wished it had a VR option. I have a program called Vorpx, and I can play Grid and Grid 2 in kind of VR mode. Thanks for the review. Game is on sale this weekend and may get it.
