LAMBORGHINI VS Junkyard TURBO 5.2 Magnum RAM 1500

Roll Racing a Lamborghini in my 98 dodge ram 1500 with a twin turbo 5.2 magnum. This was roll racing this twin turbo nitrous beast against a Lamborghini. We had some issues with whitie but all and all turn out to be a good weekend of drag racing. Not sure if you'll see this but since you guys probably have one of the fastest 5.2 rams right now, I think you should make some exhaust pipes off the turbos that look like ram horns or bull horns. Though they might be a little too heavy for the turbos alone to hold, would look mean and unique to your ram.

Racing Ram Fam inspired me to get on it! Installed a TF-HOD 2 Reprogramming kit in my 46RE on 2000 Durango with the 5.9L!!! I got plans on a twin turbo setup!

How did the you do with the Rona? Glad to see the video post! I would go with an OEM coil. If that don't work you make have lost the trace for the trigger in the PCM. Good luck!

Pretty good! More just the couldn’t go anywhere got to me…. And yes I switch back to a one coil still no spark and actuating the coil with a scan tool and still nothing

Just a question, why manually shift a 4sld auto? Why not just put in drive, or after whatever gear you're holding it in, put into drive instead of manually into gear, and just tune the PCM to get your shift points correct? If you wanna go manual shift auto, I'd highly suggest a sequential shifter or a sequential "bump" type system.

1st gear manual uses the LR band and not just the one way clutch. So the Trans doesn’t blow up when we launch. Plus I like shifting it haha yes we are switching over to a floor ratchet shifter and full manual valve body

Jegs offers a performance 5.9L Magnum motor 310 in horsepower and 400 in torque which is way more than a stock 5.9L motor

I bought two of those motors and yes I have a real bad problem buying parts that I don't really need but just because they're hard to find or I just like having backups and plus I've gone through five girlfriends in the past five years because of this problem but it's not her money it's my money but I really should start buying the parts I need to get my truck back up the way I need it

Well we custom built both of ours. K&n makes a nice cold air intake and a local muffler shop can straight pipe it!

Transgo shift kit and eBay converter! Transgo saves this transmission only reason why this stock 200k transmission is still alive under all the abuse and power

Stock 46re with a transgo shift kit and a eBay high stall 2850 rpm converter

I worked at a Mopar dealership I can honestly tell you a stock 46 RE transmission is rated for 300 horsepower cuz I have a '99 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.9 L Magnum motor with a 46RE transmission those motors are putting out 290 horsepower 365 in torque I hope this helps you out

check the plastic arm on the valve body that the neutral safety switch contacts they break allot on the 46re also check the sensor make sure its still good and make sure your hall effect sensor in the distributor is still good

I put a microsquirt in my dakota with the 5.2l and honestly its one of the best upgrades i did to the thing other than the hughes air gap intake

I really don't like the Hughes Air Gap I prefer the m1 4-barrel Mopar intake or the Indy intake are the best on the market

@@RacingRamFam better flow rate especially if they're ported and polished if you need any more knowledge dropped on you guys don't hesitate to ask especially about the 5.9 and 5.2 Magnum motors and the 5.2 and 5.9 LA but I will tell you this I don't know much about boosting these motors but naturally aspirated with nitrous I know everything there is to know do not ask me anything about these new hemi motors I know nothing about them All I can do is rebuild them or fix them that is it cuz I had to do it when I was at the dealership and no I did not work on chargers and challengers or hellcats I was on truck side which all we dealt with were the 1500s and up diesel or gas

Yeah my video is only a minute and so odd seconds long but i changed everything before I found something I’ve never seen before. Check it out on your free time. Could be the tps sensor. That causes that symptom.
