I’m half black and half Puerto Rican. I’d rather just be considered other. I hate the discrimination I receive from both side and I’m gatekept. Everyone but black people see me as black. I hate when people tell me it’s self hate when I was never embraced. I’d rather not be labeled as anything because I wouldn’t have any trust or relatability to anyone from any community or culture. I was orphaned and never had more than fair-weathered friends. I’ve been bullied and called ugly all my life for having Afro centric features which I believe are beautiful. Puerto Ricans have black in them. You're a majority black. You're not half Spaniard! I'm half Spaniard, half mulatto with Irish. I get dark, but an actual Latin. Latin people come from Europe and outside of Europe Argentina and Uruguay which are Spanish and Italian colonies. Latin people in Europe are from Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and Romania!

I think that you're missing my point. In order to truly be considered Latin, you must have at least 50% Spaniard lineage. Puerto Ricans have African roots or they're not Puerto Ricans. You have a majority African DNA if you're half black and half Puerto Rican which has black. I'm half Spaniard as in half European. It's recognized when I go to Italy, Portugal, Netherlands, Switzerland, Greece, etc. I watch how they treat Mexican's, Ecuadorian and Venezuelans. They don't blend in with real Latin culture. Nobody but them considers them Latin. None of the people in this video are Latin! However, there are Spanish and Italian colonies in Puerto Rico, but those individuals wouldn't be Puerto Rican, which is a mixture of African, a little bit of Spanish and indigenous!
