Yes thats how I think too, I somewhat got discouraged with those ideas when ANOTHER incident happen where a dunkin donuts lady wouldn't serve me just kept mopping and I recorded her (I can upload it on my page) and I sent that vid to several news outlets even CNN with NO RESPONSE.....Key is persistence though!

Additionally, people buy tickets in the airline countries all the time = you don't need a boarding pass to access the airport lobby.

The fourth amendment protects the safety of your person ,your property ,your possessions and your papers! This cop believes just because he said something it becomes a law! Wrong. This happened at an international airport, which is a federal reservation. Your usual rights don't all apply there. He _can_ require you to demonstrate that you are a confirmed passenger on a flight. They _can_ and _will_ search you, your luggage, your carry-on bag at will.

In the United States the worst that can happen is being charged with a misdemeanor and not more than $1000 fine. Also you can only temporarily be detained. So it depends on what you have in your phone how far you want to take your refusal,but you can’t be forced to give up your PIN. There is a Los Angeles Times article dated March 13, 2017 that covers all the different particulars such as location of the airport or if you’re a U.S. citizen. There’s no single cut and dry answer. Just saying 🤔

What you are talking about is new legislation put in place by Bush after 9-11. Public Law 107-71, the Aviation Transportation and Security Act basically allows the TSA to ignore the 4th admendmanet. This law passed because the government used the tragedy to sneak this bill in as a benefit to the public, when it also serves to take away our rights. Again, this gives the right to TSA not police departments. Although that last part I am not sure of. Anyway just a little clarity,

You clearly do not understand trespass laws, reasonable suspicion, probable cause, 4th amendment, and 5th amendment laws. He never said he was trespassing her off the property, he said people that do not have business there have to leave. He did not have proof she was not their on business, which is why he questioned her. The burden of proof is not on her to give him, IF she is committing a crime or action that merits a trespass. Due to Covid a little something like this happened to me and I'm Caucasian. The Habor Police stopped me when I went to enter baggage claim from the street to pick up my disabled sister. The Steward wouldn't bring her and her luggage to the curb. So, first they told me I couldn't park. I understood and explained. The officer held me back and told me I had to go park my car, bring her out to the curb then go and get the car, pay for parking and return to the curb to pick her up. Meanwhile she's sitting in the wheelchair in eye sight inside the doors with the Steward and her luggage. THANK GOD another officer arrived wanting to know what was going on. This cop wanted proof I was there to pick up my sister and wanted to know the flight number and blah, blah, blah. Finally the Steward came out and got me! 15 minutes!!! WTF!!!

Anyone is allowed to walk in an airport, it's a public facility. You don't have to "show papers" to be in an airport. For example, you can got there just to shop if you like. To get through to the boarding area, you have to have a boarding pass and ID. THIS IS CHECKED BY THE TSA AT THE SECURITY CHECKPOINT, NOT RACIST COPS! So, if she's outside the boarding areas, she doesn't have to show him anything! If she's inside the boarding area, she's ALREADY been cleared to be there and again doesn't have to show him anything! In international areas, they can ask to see your PASSPORT, not your papers. There's no "show me your papers" law!
