I really like the superlite, I think it uses some unusual wood for the stock to get the weight down. The clip holding the mag in lasts surprisingly long, nearly 20 years in my s310 so far! But the brass clip that cycles the mag did break on mine after 15 years, quite cheap and easy to replace though.

That's what I love about my Daystate Huntsmen the fact there's no compromise between single and multi shot modes, and the mag mechanism is so simple and bombproof!

Aha Dr Guy, are you the chap that shoots at Woodend? If you are then your shooting is absolutely first class. I was watching you shoot about a year ago and you could knock a fly down at 200yds!!

@@bigteno4597 A fly at 200 yards? No way! It'd have to be well over 12FPE for a start and he'd have to be an incredible shot!!!!!

Good review ! Air Arms are very nice ! Though , that small spring over the trigger being exposed is a first for finer guns ! ? Question to you and others that may know , are rear pull type bolts handles have the ability to be rotated / changed to a left hand position ? Thanks and cheers
@emmarowley10965 жыл бұрын
Brian Harrigan yes you can usually change the bolt over from right to left handed

What dose the "f" stand for where it says s410f
@BradBrassman6 жыл бұрын
I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago from Airgun World as a "combo" and is a really nice gun. HOWEVER please dont go for the Bipod as it its a piece of tinny Chinese rubbish which marks the stock quite badly and when you tell Air Arms or Airgun World, they dont want to know and try to sell you a kit to rub down the stock and re wax it (Air Arms) and a replacement stock at cost (Airgun World). Latest update with this issue is they're offering to send me a brand new stock free of charge so we'll see.

Always go for a Harris bi-pod, they are the best. Not cheap,.....but the best.

Can anyone explain how you get more shots per fill in the .22
@ChiefLightning98 жыл бұрын
What do you mean?
@HILUXCHAINSAW6 жыл бұрын
If you turn the power down there is less air per shot and you'll get more shots. Turn the power up and there is more air per shot, so the more air you use the less shots you get.

This might be a bit long-winded, but it is about area, pressure and force...bear with me. The .22 pellet, although heavier than .177, has a much larger surface area than .177 at the back end where the air will ‘push’. The greater area for the air to push on means that less air pressure is required to get the pellet moving down the barrel. And less air pressure for each shot means using less air....so you get more shots per fill with .22. Having said all that I’m a .177 man as I prefer the faster pellet and flatter trajectory.
@Meloncholymadness5 жыл бұрын
@@0113mountainman Exactly right, and I'm a .177 guy myself, for the same reasons as you. I even converted my HW80 from a .22 to a .177. Now if lived in the US I'd go with .22 but use around 30FPE. I might even go crazy and get a high powered .25 or .30 rifle. American's are so lucky when it comes to guns in general!
