Great timing to see this review, I stopped by their brand new store in Salt Lake City today to take a look at the Rad Rover 6+. I love my Rad Mini 4, but I'd love to get one of these as well!

Super duper review!!! I am a huge fan of Rad Power, owning two of their bikes. They are dependable and tough. Keep up the good work, I always look forward to your reviews.

What you called ( Pulsating ) while riding fast < when i put my tire protection in you must make sure the tire is in evenly on the rim < spin the tire and look at it < i got close to 40 mil an hour on mine ( down a long steep hill )and it rides great/ no hobble bobble like the cheaper bikes / it is a Cadillac

If you are considering this bike right now I and many others online are getting bad batteries and their customer service is waaay overloaded. Check out their recent BBB complaints at Seattle Better Business Bureau. Though eventually solved mine hasn't been yet (dead battery on 2nd day, pro assembly)

Thx for the great review. Had my rover 6+ for a couple of months now and your experience appears similar to mine. Fun bike! Mind me asking what device you used to attach your phone? Also, were you aware you can adjust the top speed to 24 mph with the throttle? Can send a link if needed...

Thanks for watching! My phone mount is called Quad Lock, best one out there in my opinion and I wasn't aware, feel free to post on this thread for others to use.

A nice bike but 672Wh is really outdated. It's time for an upgrade as they missed to do it with the model change.

Acceleration = quickness Speed = fastness This psecific motor is able to go faster and that is why you are feeling torque almost all the way up. The electronics of this bike is the reason why the bike DOES not go faster. It is limited. 750w 28mph 500w 22 350w 18 250w 12 1000w 35 1500w 4someth8ng But just because the motors limit is that doesn't mean you should. It just should mean you have more torque. If you take it to the limit all of the time you just won't have a motor that lasts that long. Not many motors out there. All though this matket is going crazy! Hense the thousands of ebike in the market with companies all over the world. And their yearly revenue. Rad is very rich. Lectric, sondors, and so many others

Please tell me this review isn't sponsored by Rad. I know for a fact the reviewers that are all praises about Rad are usually sponsored by Rad. I myself have had 3 Rad's and couldn't force myself to like them . The first one was Rad rover 5 and god that bicycle was aweful . Underpowered , bad range , chain rusted within 6 months , top fender mount broke for the front fender , rear brake cable siezed up in winter making it useless in sub zero temperatures, finally sold that bicycle for a loss . Bought a rad city 4 ( used one ) , but that bicycle had gearless motor , though quiet , it was just gutless tried selling it but got lowballed like no tomorrow , so just kept it ( should have learnt my lesson by now ) but bought a rad runner plus because my daughter wanted me to buy it so that she could sit behind me and that thing is just not made for 2 people regardless of what Rad say . The motor struggles with an adult and a child on it on flat surface , and do not even attempt climbing any sort of hill on that bicycle because you'll be diassapointed . I have sinced owned various bicycles from various companies . Tesgo , biktrix , Fucare gemini x , Go power bikes and I can tell you one thing all those bicycles are way better than any product I have owned from RAD. One other company that is as bad as RAD that I have owned couple products from is Igo , that company is right down there with RAD. If Rad was $500 less for each product they are selling , I would say consider buying something from them , otherwise there are better products out there for similar or less money .

It wasn't sponsored however they did send me the bike

Sounds like your general beef is not enough power from Rad power? lol You need to buy an ebike with a powerful controller and motor to meet your needs! (and big battery, or 2). Stop wasting money and time on these low-level ebikes, Look around for something that specs those 2 important features or get one built :)

Great looking video about horribly defective bikes. Search complaints about the battery, they are endless. My wife bought one of these without doing any research. It was delivered with a dead battery that will not take a charge. Rad wants 5 pictures and two videos to prove the battery on this unriden bike is defective! If they accept our claim we will wait to get a working battery from China. Buy something else. You have been warned.

@@vazo_3851 I usually buy a bicycle and tend to keep it for few months and then end up selling them , so I have ridden quite a few bicycles from different brands. Rad's components aren't high quality , I had a Rad Rover 5 and within 6 months of owning it , I saw rust on chain , freewhell ( they don't use cassette to keep the costs down ) , rust on wheel bearings , my front fender mount seperated and made weird noise when I went over bumps , so I had to Zip tie it , rear brakes stopped working because for some reason if it got below freezing , the brake cable stopped working. , so in the end I sold a bicycle that only had 350 kms on it. Rad made a huge recall recently for their cargo bicycles because their frames were breaking . I currently own 6 bicycles and among the favourites I have specaialized turbo vado 3 , but i cannot compare it to Rad because its 3 times the price of a rad , so the other budget bicycle I absolutely love are Tesgo Hummer pro , Amego Infinite that I just sold 2 days ago and that bicycle had 7000 kms on it and the guy who bought it from me was very impressed by the build quality , Biktrix Juggernaut that I currently own cost a few hundred more than a Rad , but its worth every penny considering I got a shimano Alivio shifter , coloured display screen and a torque sensor rather than a cadence sensor , bigger battery and came standard with a thick rear rack. I have owned 3 bicycles from another Canadian company called Igo ( costco sells few of their models ) , absolutely junk , I had electrical issues with all 3 that I owned and the company was reluctant to provide any kind of help.I currently own a Rad runner plus and want to sell it , but my 7 year old daughter who likes sitting behind me on that bicycle won't let me sell it. The motor on that bicycle at 500 W peak is absolutely underpowered , specially considering the fact its a very heavy bicycle and with 2 riders on it , it barely moves and the motor has to work overtime to get that thing going at the expense of very mediocore battery range.

@@savemankind738 Thanks but most the bikes you mentioned don't sell in my country ( Netherlands ). Besides the Tesgo I saw it on Aliexpress. I've just bought a radrhino 6 plus ( It's called rad rover in USA ) I'm a couple months in and no issues so far. It's my first ebike, I hope it won't rust etc. I'm liking it so far.
