No, it’s stupid. I was hoping for something interesting like maybe an Undead Godwyn or maybe a cool new character. Instead we have to fight someone we already fought earlier in the story and on the surface for the average player it makes zero sense why he would be there. I find it a bit lazy and I think they could’ve done way better on this final battle. The rest of DLC was just short from perfection and to end it with a totally random encounter like this disappoints me.

Upon playing Elden ring for the first time, Starscourge Redahn took me the longest of any boss. Now, he does the same 2 years down the line. He is the epitome of Gigachad.

I'm not sure what confuses me more; Miquella taking a guy and his "brother" Radahn as his consort, or why Radahn looks well normal. I guess a consort can be anyone, but a sibling...? And I've never understood why some look human while others are abominations/monsters Still Radahn looks awesome here. He looks alive and whole 🤩

Radahn looks normal cuz miquella’s entire plan was to put a brainwashed soul of Radahn in mogh’s dead body. That’s the big reveal for why both needed to be dead before starting the dlc.

So miquellas plan includes snatching radahns soul somehow and putting it in moghs body. Why though? What was wrong with radahns body? The hole thing is silly to me, when everything seems set up for godwyn. Godwyns soul needs a better body. It wouldve been way cooler and made way more sense.

Malenia was sent by Miquella to kill Radahn for two reasons: First, Miquella was obsessed with Radahn and he needed a consort to become a god like Marika and if Radahn wasnt going to be his consort by his own will then he would be by force, he needed Radahn to die so he could snatch his soul. Second, and most important, Radahn was holding the stars and preventing both Miquella's and Ranni's plan to conclude. When we kill Radahn, Miquella gets what he wanted: his brother's soul and the engines of destiny back on track.
