I had my surgery in 2003 and have limited range of motion due to radiation therapy. They never advised therapy for me. Has it been too long for therapy to be effective?

absolutely not! I have treated individuals 25-30+ years after surgery and radiation. Although it look an extra month or so of treatment, a lot of improvement is often still made, including significantly more range of motion and less pain. It's definitely worth still seeking support locally if you have any symptoms :)

Kelly, and in the case of also forming an axillary cord, can we associate the use of kinesiotape? In addition to what you have already suggested... of course 🎉

Hi! I apologize but I didn't quite understand what your question was. In some situations, we do use kinesiology tape for cording, especially if other treatments are assisting. However, it's not typically the first thing we often try. I hope that is what you were looking for!

What about radiation fibrosis in the pelvic area from vaginal cancer treatment?

I will look at adding a specific video for this, but a lot of the general treatments are of similar concepts with stretches and some hands-on treatment. Many pelvic floor therapists are able to also help treat this and this area confidently
