Radical Cooling Proposals. 1979 AMF Harley-Davidson XLH1000 Ironhead Sportster

In truth it was the sloppiness of the bores more than the heat which contributed most to my recent troubles, but I got to thinking anyway.

AKSHERLLLLY - the rear cylinder runs slightly cooler than the front one - due to the direction of rotation of the crank it has more oil splash cooling than the front one (or so im told)

That does make sense. I'll go with one rear cylinder instead.
