Radical Defense MK1 Mod 1 14.5" Patrol Rifle - First Shots

I've never shot anything from Radical but this one seems solid. I can tell you with 100% certainty that in my experience, anything from Battle Arms Development is not only good to go, but of very high quality. I wish we could buy AR's here in Illinois, this one would be on my bucket list for sure. I liked everything about it. You hit all the spots I look for. Since Jan of 23 we can no longer buy anything AR including parts of any kind. LOL, this was the answer on how to bring down gun related crime in Illinois from the Pritzker crowd.Needless to say, it's not working. Great review Matt, thanks for the share.

@@RTTGunsGear We have a couple of really good cases in the courts already. We're also very fortunate have some really great Pro 2A Lobbyists who have really deep legal knowledge. Time will tell. The former NRA contract lobbyist for Illinois forever is the current president of my Sportsmans Club. By trade he was a heavy equipment operator, but as a lobbyist he's literally smarter than most of the lawyers I've seen. Cheers brother.

Similar here in Germany. Our law is very strict. Now they kill each other with knives. Its always people, not the tools.

Nice rifle, but I think I'd take the Cox Arms for that price. Those MFT mags are good, been using them for about 5 years. I like that they have just enough extra spring to load a full 30 on a closed bolt with ease, they just don't like the heat very much. I personally prefer stainless steel mags or HK mags if you can find and afford those.

Very nice Patrol Rifle, Matt. Sure does appear to be flat shooting. That muzzle device is awesome too. Do you have a video covering your BOG Deathgrip tripod? Thinking of getting one or sticking with my 7/8" triple dowel tripod.

I own 2 of their pistols, one is an SBR now. I think I'd like that PDW of theirs in .300. Do you think the RF and RD bare lowers are the same?

@POSminiracer I can't say they're the same. But they are the same 7075 aluminum. I can't see any real differences though.
