Look at it like this, when a glock 19 can run steel cased ammo but a CZ Shadow 2 cant, with the CZ costing 3x more, sometimes u gotta think to yourself and remind yourself not everything with a high price tag is good itself lmao. I used the Benelli M4 during my time in the Military and it had all sort of issues when it was loaded with both 00 Buck and Slugs it would shoot the buckshot ok and the slugs but the transition it would always JAM and it was not a Maintenance issue I keep my M4 clean and lubed. I decided to get the Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod 2 when it came out earlier this year and after removing the Plastic Parts that Beretta put in mainly the Charging Handle, Magazine Tube Cover and Barrel and Mag Tube Clamp that were replaced with GGG Aluminum parts. I also added the Toni System MLok Handguard and Mesa Tactical RMR Mount/Side Saddle that are attached to the receiver at the top via three screws used by the OEM Picatinny Rail. Since Beretta Group own Benelli and Franchi they have decided to divide the Shotgun Market this way Benelli gets Military and LEO, Franchi Sportsmen Skeet and Trap plus Birds and Beretta does a little of each. When the 1301 Tactical was released about 10 years ago I had a feeling that properly setup it could be a Benelli M4 Killer and now that the Mod 2 is out with the new Lifter and loading port widen to aid for faster reloads the 1301 is ready. Putting that much into a Clone I believe is Crazy don't get me wrong I like MAC I own one of their JSOC 1911 and is one of my favorite 1911 even if it only cost me about third of my SIG, Springfield and Smith and Wesson 1911s that are setup in a similar manner. I have seen too many of the M4 Clones just DIE at my Gun Club and since I am one of the resident Gunsmiths that normally carries a tool kit in my Jeep the issues have been everything from broken parts to just bad heat treatment and warped barrels and receivers after using 3 inch shells. I have not seen a MAC or the Panzer Arms another Clone Model that has a Speed Pro that is designed for the 3 Gun Crown but would probably make a good home defense shotgun if it turns to be a good clone but time will tell.

Got a very similar setup but ran a Vortex Viper red dot on mine to reduce weigh and cost. Gone through boxes of low brass for trap shooting (Turkish guns have had issues with low brass) But not this one. Never had a jam on it. Haters are just mad they paid 3-4x for their M4. I'm sure the Benelli's will run thousands of rounds... if you're planning to go to war then sure. But for an everyday shooter. The Mac 1014 is solid. I would trust my life with it at home and for hunting. Plus every gun breaks down... even the Benelli. I've seen those have the same issues as the Turkish shot guns. Look at it this way. If Benelli's patent expired and all these "junk" clones came out... why would Benelli come out with the new M4 model. It's because they know the clones are getting just as good as theirs and they need a way to recover that lost revenue from the clones taking a chunk of their pie. It's that simple.

Yes we should not let gun companies rely on us making the gun work well but if car enthusiast can modifying cars for better performance why cant gun owners do it for guns which function a whole lot simpler than cars. You may have to tighten screws or file down or polish some areas with budget guns for that savings. The information about grade of materials used down to the screws should be provided to customers. We can then understand what we are working with. Am I wrong about this? I like that gun and im getten one...

The upgrade themselves could’ve bought a 1301 m2 and would of been way nicer

@@vietnamtactical Well... damn. I forgot about the 1301. I have the M4 Gen 2 LEO version with the SuperNova style collapsible stock, metal forend and full mag tube. I had an A300 Patrol for little while.

Dunno... I bought a MAC 1014 earlier this year. The only thing I changed was to add a larger bolt handle. The fit and finish was absolutely flawless. The action is silky smooth. I've taken it out shooting a few times and it has performed flawlessly with slugs, buckshot and birdshot. I have a little over 300 rds through it without a single failure. I also did a complete teardown to inspect the ends of the gas pistons and the area on the bolt face where the gas pistons make contact and found no wear or "peening" at all. I know some of these Turkish shotguns can be hit and miss but I couldn't be happier with the MAC 1014, especially at 1/5 the price of the Benelli. I could have bought a Benelli, I just chose not to. :-)

The turkanelli will never be even close to a Benelli. Save your money, and get a Benelli.

I’d rather buy a stock benelli m4 for less than a tricked out clone.
