@@joshoconnor5005 went Friday actually, should add I got an Enhanced firing pin and a wolf trigger spring. Cost like 12$ but shot 300 rounds mix of Tula and wolf and not a single issue.

Sorry for the late reply, but I’ve shot tons of cheap steel case tulammo, and its run them fine so far, I’ve had quite a few light primer strikes with the TUL rounds, but that may have been a defective batch since the primers looked like they were too far in the case (also only happened with tul). But no malfunctions with the gun itself so far. Maybe change out the firing pin? It’s a pretty cheap upgrade and will probably cost less in the end

so what’s the correct style (name) of that 7.62x39 mag? , bc i’m looking into buying more magazines & thought the AK/AKM magazines were interchangeable with this style rifle ..

You need an AR style mag. I just had to order a few. They're a bit of a pain in the ass to find in store.

I was wondering about this... Do the light strikes primarily occur with berdan primed (generally steel cased) ammo? Have you had a chance to try with boxer primed (generally brass) ammo? I've read some folks found on the Ruger mini 30 that the light strikes (on berdan/steel) were straightened out by getting a slightly longer firing pin, so the tougher to ignite berdan primers get set off...

@@dionmccall8686 It's my understanding (I don't own one) that the mini-30 is pretty great, and a lot of fun. If you can get brass cased 7.62x39 easy enough, and don't mind the price, I say go for it. Hickok45 does a mini-30 review on youtube that you should check out for more info. If I had all the dollars, I'd own one AND a mini-14 -- that way no matter what happened with the future of Russian imports of 7.62x39 steel cheapies, I could use that or the 5.56, which I don't see going away for a long, long time. A few months ago I picked up an SKS, so that'll do for my 7.62x39 jones for now... but again, if I had all the money... :)

@@dionmccall8686 yea, I totally agree with yer' lady. For the price of the mini's you can get a solid AR and a ton of ammo. ...or an AR *and* a Milsurp SKS if you really want to have something that runs x39 on the cheap. IMO, that's the way to go... all the replacement parts (and mags) are cheaper, too. Enjoy!

It’s ok. But for the price there’s nothing wrong with this gun at all imo. I love it and have well over 300 rounds through it already. The mags are the only issue I would say. But I bought a cheap magpul 30round mag for 25$ and it’s been perfect since

You are insane if you buy this right now. Atlantic themselves is charging $0.50 per round at BEST. Not to mention this has no optic, a 20rd mag, and is unproven. Save yourself and just… don’t.
