Looks like it ended up being a fun trail. It looked cool from Red Cone. I will hit it next time! Thanks for sharing!

It definitely was worth doing and it’s got some spots that are a little tricky. If you liked Red Cone you’ll like Radical Hill.

There's a Funtreks for California too! It's the latest one they've released, I think. I bought for my trip to Death Valley this weekend. I love how the book is laid out. Super easy to use.

That’s awesome and good to know! They are awesome books and they map out the trail systems very well.

Very nice video !! I've run Radical a few times it's a Front Range Test peice. I know lots of people around here that want nothing to do with it. Lol

Haha! Really? I mean it was sketchy in spots but didn’t think it was that bad.

@TrailExpedition That Awesome running it solo is really cool your definitely a solid off-roader. That upper road where you go over that hump that was a land slide 3 years ago after days of rain. It closed for a week till some guys dug it out. It's also hit by Avalanches in the winter.

@Mlpojnnb1234 dang that would be pretty gnarly trying to tackle it in those conditions. I go out quite often by myself and don’t do anything outside of my comfort zone. However, not much makes me uncomfortable 🥴

@TrailExpedition Nice same here i love going out solo. That whole area is closed now. We had a big storm 2 weeks ago dropping probably 2 feet in that area. Radical probably won't open back up till early July now. That area gets 20 feet of snow in winter making it impassable.

@Mlpojnnb1234 oh I believe it! I was there late summer and it was chilly at the top at that time. Colorado does have some amazing trails.

Wow! Quite the pitch. Is someone running your drone or do you set it up in some way to follow with a beacon or some sort of signal? What drone do you use? Looks really cool! I enjoy your posts - you do a good job of setting it up and just seems like we are along for the ride unless I start thinking about it…how the heck does he do that? 😂

Haha! Thank you! I try to make the videos seamless with good flow. I utilize a Skydio drone for most of my aerial shots. It’s an awesome drone with an amazing follow function. So essentially I put it up and lock it onto my jeep. I don’t have to put any input in while I’m driving and the drone just follows along.

I know you’re prepared for breakdowns n such but who do you call when help is needed?
@TrailExpedition
@TrailExpedition 8 сағат бұрын
@@samwalker1304 if it was a true emergency and I had reception I would call 911. Once, when I was extremely stuck on the Kentucky Adventure Tour, I reached out to local off-road facebook groups. Luckily I was able to self recover after trying several options.

Good video. Video doesn’t really convey the narrowness of the top section after the sharp switch back. If you have a wide rig you have to climb that rock that juts out, i still slipped a little. 😂 Not for the faint of heart.

Yeah Jeeps aren’t wide vehicles by any means and I was hugging that wall as close as I could. Definitely wouldn’t not want to take a full size rig up that trail. Thanks for watching!
