I need to work on NOT trying to be the most inconsistent of all time. Last week did it again in league. Opened up with 232. Second game 140. Been having release problems recently. Game 2 started off with gutter balls. Trying to get my thumb holes checked.

Mental game, I was going on a 5 string when the power went out for a few minutes, got back on the approach, and whiffed by like 5 boards, made the spare though, and finished with 1000 through 4 on wood

Spare shooting and working on staying ahead of transition. I hate shooting 230 and then 170 then 240 need to be faster on the move and I need to get my 10 pins. I'm roughly 98% on all other single pin spares but 70% on 10 pins and that's just not cutting it.

For me I get carried away trying to string strikes that it causes me to rush on the second shot and miss spares I can pick up. Got to stay focused on 1 shot at a time and get those spares.

My biggest issue is repeating shots. Everything I do varies from shot to shot. Launch angle, slide distance, release point, it's hard to be consistent. I try my best to keep everything I have control over the same, but sometimes, the variables I can't control get the better of me.

I used to dislike shorter patterns but now I prefer them. Short pin Proof Hybrid, GB4, and sometimes the Obsession have been money on short patterns for me lately. I think short pin on the Payback might make it too condition specific since the ball design itself seems to be on the smoother side.

I need to work on balance at the line and watching my mark throughout my approach. I watch it for the first three steps or so, but then I must blank out and rely on years of repetition. I’m a decent bowler but feel like I can be and should be better.
