I still have mine too - I saved all my earnings from mowing lawns in the mid-70s to buy it. I used a long-wire antenna that I stripped out of the deflection coild of an old TV, and listened to shortwave/ham radio under the covers at night. I re-aligned mine about 10 years ago, and it still works great.

That was my first SW radio and it is what opened me up to the world of ham radio. I would love to have one again.

Still have mine. Even have the long wire antenna I stored away with it 35 years ago. Brings back great memories.
