It's really funny how if you watch the behind the scene's on Jackass the game you can see how Steve O is so high. Years later Steve O says he can't even remember shooting stuff for it that's how close he was from rock bottom at the time

@@MediaPastimes I’m happy that he’s doing well but he’s certainly become more of an attention whore (his own words) and is doing a lot of dumber and dumber publicity stunts like last week he’s like “Dude I got a plan to get a plastic surgeon give me breast implants” and I’m like “Why?”

Tbh MTV was awesome this era because of the happy medium of music videos at the beginning/end of the day along with the other content on the channel

I couldn't agree more. MTV2's morning music video block was always more my thing because they played a lot more alternative rock/pop punk in those days, but it's cool that they actually still played music on each network. Now there's just MTV classic, if I'm not mistaken.

Xzibit is 1 of the best rappers of all time, lyrically during his prime he was arguably the best, and of course he was a Dre/Snoop protege and had amazing Dre beats on his shit. I'd put him above Kendrick Lamar or Kanye or Drake or any of those silly modern rappers like Macklemore and Chance the Rapper. He's MILES above them, he's 1 of the true greats in an era where the music mattered, not just throwing together some sing-rap with autotunes to sell to teens and young adults. With that said, Pimp my Ride made a lot of people underrate him, view him as hollywood, or not a real OG.. when he'd already had several of the best rap albums ever by the time that show started.
