What do you expect for a 16 bit DAC with a 44.1 KHz sampling rate and a bandwidth of 20Hz-20kHz? It’s a real tone destroyer in bypass mode.
@honeygirlkellie6 жыл бұрын
A little late on the reply, but first off, he does a "chicka", not whatever you said. Second, it has happened on songs other than Creep, believe it or not. Third, Jonny Greenwood, Radiohead's other guitar player, did it because he thought the verse of Creep was too nice, and he wanted it to sound nastier. You have been educated.

To have someone like Ed O'Brien, who, like all musicians in Radiohead, is searching for the path of unbridled creativity and sonic experimentation without any obstructions, be so happy and thankful at the end is a true testimony and reflection of GigRig's successful fulfillment of everything a serious musician could ask for. I first read about GigRig in the "Perfect Pedalboard" issue of Guitarist magazine, which featured a segment on Steven Wilson's pedalboard. That's where I first found out about the company and was absolutely amazed by the board built for Steven. It really gave me a peace-of-mind by proving the possibility of building a 'board' that could function with the flexibility of a multi-effects guitar unit, but done with pedals, which as many guitarists know have sonic and hands-on 'tweaking' advantages. Fantastic stuff, GigRig.

I love these artist videos where you can see the thankfulness, happiness, the joy and amazement, even being dumbfounded, of these guys when they find out that you made their life so easy, so convenient and allow them to express directly without annoying technical issues. This is what a technological man strives for, to create something useful that makes someone's life easy and better so much that they're at loss of words. The mere reaction of these guys justifies the existence of this technology. In some episode you said it took you 10 years with people saying you're a madman, but now there are people who couldn't live without the fruit of your creativity and problem solving skills. All that effort was worth it when you single-handedly allowed something that wasn't previously possible, but was deeply sought after. Kirk Fletcher's reaction is also one of my favourites. How a man can be so happy that he almost cries, because the difference and result is so beautiful. It makes me happy to watch. And finally getting my own gigrig power system, I can now also forget all that. Even not having a looper it's a huge step when you know you don't have to second guess if you power is adequate.

Such a nice compliment Daniel that Ed acknowledges after 5 years of fighting, pulling out leads to find hum, the G2 allows the player to be in the moment and create. I think you have to try G2 to fully appreciate the vision that created such freedom. Awesome board too. Definitely worth watching a few times to see the benefit of going Loopy!
