This might work to turn off or change the telemetry beeps. We haven't tried it yet, but these are the instructions from RadioLink Download the RadioLink App... on iPhone, search RadioLink in App store. Android App: www.radiolink.com/t8s_apps Here are the app connection steps: ① When the installation of the parameter setup APP is complete, press the power button to turn on T8S. ② Click to enter the APP, and a message will pop out to ask for permission to turn on the Bluetooth function. ③ Click CONNECT on the top left of the interface, and a list of devices will pop out for selection. ④ Select the RadioLink device, the two LED indicators at the rightmost will flash with DD sounds ⑤ Press any of the trimmer buttons to stop the DD sounds and the servo range will display on the APP, meaning the connection between the APP and T8S succeeds (Go top to see the location of trimmer buttons). >>> When you connect the T8S to app, there are DDD alarming, just press any of trim switch to stop it. >>> Then, Go to SYSTEM, find the EXT-ALARM: modify the number to 7.4V and click WRITE to save the value.

Looks fun! I've learned as much or more about flying as I have building/assembling from watching your channel, but radio set-up is what is becoming more comfortable for me because of your channel. As an RC pilot, trees used to annoy me, but after watching your close in flying I have learned to embrace them as the natural "obstacle" they are.

Honestly, the Erratix (did I spell that correctly?) is such a better little airplane, and it's only about 20 dollars more. I know, you don't get a radio with it, but 95% of people buying rc planes already have one. It's built better and looks better. Doesn't have that cheap toy look to it. That said, I suppose this will find a market. I would think, though, that it'll be someone who wants a toy to play with. Not someone who is "into" the hobby.

Brian, I have this little plane (since Dec '22) and find it really fun to fly once you set up the transmitter using the PC software downloaded from RadioLink. After lots of experimentation, I find the following setup really helpful: D/R: Expo: Aileron: 60% 50% (-50%; both UP and DWN for CH1) Elevator: 100% 40% (-40%; both UP and DWN for CH2) Rudder: 100% 30% (-30%; both UP and DWN for CH4) >> Read from controller first, modified it and wrote back to controller and saved to file on PC. Give this a try! I also found that using the 600mAh 2S batteries RadioLink sells on their site are much better batteries than what was included in the Amazon bundle for some reason (500mAh). The TX beeping is supposed to be battery telemetry but I don't find it all that useful. Also, I did finally ditch the landing gear as well after finding that grass landings would bend back the fuse most of time as the landing gear acted like a lever on that part of the fuse. It would likely eventually fail as a result. With the landing gear gone, belly landings are fine. FoamTac works great on this plane (as needed). And yes, the E-flite Eratix FF is a better plane (which I also have) but more money.

The small thing is the reciever and the big one is the flight controler. This is set up lik the Carbon Cub S2.

Great review again, but its hard to buy a plane like that and 6 months down the road they come out with the v2 version, witch is even better. Because they watch brian phillips rc and listen . Can't wait to see the pond. So many options there.

i just got this plane in and you put out a video on it great timing i love the plane i m a beginner and it flys great very touchy i have a problem in gyro mode the wings swing up and down there was a little wind but not much i see you flying it and it was so smooth do you know anything i can check for mine to fly nice like yours

You're probably going faster., which can cause the oscillation to be worse. If you really want to slow down / stop the oscillation, you can try to move the control linkages for EACH AILERON from the outermost hole, in a couple...this will reduce the output from the ailerons and would help. Give it a shot!

It does, but you have to set your throttle to make sure it can keep in position.

Cool plane , decent quality. I get the market/need for a rtf with all the modes. The downfall is someone will rely to much on those modes just like spektrum safe and will either never progress or will get to used to it and when it comes to truly piloting will lack the skills or won’t learn correctly. None the less great for someone just wanting to mess around., which I think this is geared for. Not the best entry for a serious rc flyer imo.

Hi, we have manual mode, it doesn't need gyro, you could try that.

@@BrianPhillipsRC Hi, the model voltage alarm is set to 7.4V (2S battery) by default. When the battery voltage of A560 is lower than 7.4V, the transmitter will emit three DDD beeps to alarm, you could connect the T8S to the app to check the low voltage value.
