You can also set the sound when the remote is turned off. The file should be located in the "SYSTEM" folder and named "bye.wav"

Mine came in last Saturday and it is super slick! I’m sure there’s a nice CNC wheel coming soon. One complaint I have is the super bright light right by the screen… makes it hard to look at the screen when I’m working on it at night.

I set up the p1 dial as a dimmer to control the backlight, I also have the p2set for volume. Go to SYSTEM, global function, and set first slot to ON. then select backlight, assign switch, check box at the end. Hope that helps

Hello und Danke für ein sehr hilfreiches Video. Leider hat auch bei mir das bisher nicht geklappt, dass der ersetzte Sound abgespielt wird. Das liegt mit Sicherheit am falsch eingestellten Codec. Ich habe ebenfalls .wav ausgewählt. 256kbit/s ist als einzigstes im Detail-code auszulesen.🤔 von der original *Hello* Datei. Kannst du eventuell noch mehr dazu sagen? Danke´Dir im voraus...und Guten Rutsch in 2024😋

Servus, danke - auch einen guten Rutsch natürlich! Ich hänge jetzt etwas beim Auslesen des Codec... VLC Media Player (hab grad upgedated) sollte den Codec ja auslesen können... tut es aber nicht. Kurzes Googeln macht mich auch nicht klüger, sag, wie ich den Codec einfach (Windows 10 Computer) auslesen kann, und ich tu es. Ev. liegt es auch an Mono/Stereo? Mein File bzw. meine Files sind aufgenommen und/oder bearbeitet mit Cool Edit Pro, Aufnahme Stereo, Sampling Rate 44100 Hz, Resolution 16 bit, gespeichert als Windows PCM (*.wav).

@@donaldsneffe Ne weile hab ich gebraucht, jetzt hab ich es: PCM umkompromiert, mono, 16000Hz, 16 bit. damit hat es bei mir endlich funktioniert. 😉

Hi Donald. You look like you have much knowledge with edgetx. I’m trying to add a headtracker to my Mt12 through sbus. Do you know how I can get the serial port configured to sbus trainer? On my Taranis and Tx16s the option is on the hardware page. But on the Mt12 hardware page, the only options for serial are Cli and telemetry. Can you please help me with this. Thank You

Hey from germany, i follow your steps, but now my mt12 make no sound 😏 first try i download the playstation 1 sound and convert it to WAV.... ist dont work maybe 17 seconds to long.... then i try windows xp sound with 4 second same resultat.... an my last try was the Mario Coin sound under 1 second.... nothing.....

Did you replace the "hello" in the MT12 file by the "hello.wav" you have created? As mentioned in the video, it did not work for me when I deleted the "hello.wav" in the MT12 and then pasted my custom "hello.wav", it did only work when I did replace it and the computer asked "do you want to replace" and I confirmed. Same strange problem in the Radiolink RC8X. I repeated this several times, and it always worked. The "hello.wav Kopie", which I had in the order, did work, after removing the "Kopie".

@@donaldsneffe yes, i try all ways... remove... replace.... nothing works... only the original file work... and that instantly when i put it back on the radio.... thank you for your help

@@DrXMaxxYou are sure you saved in correct format? I save as Windows PCM (*.wav). I used recorded sound files and also parts of songs, which I converted to this format. Always worked, with Radiomaster and Radiolink.

Hallo, ich habe auch lange probiert: letztendlich liegt es an den Einstellungen: PCM unkomprimiert, mono,16000Hz, 16 bit. Damit sollte es gehen.
